:flag17: Welcome to :gopusa:
How about them Rockies?
:sweep::sweep:
They've swept everything in the playoffs, won 21 of their last 22 games, and now they're hot and headed to the World Series! :flame:
Getting back to the gray world of politics Harry Reid's favorable rating in Nevada is at 32%. What is wrong with that state anyway? How could it be that high? :str:
Ron Paul's campaign is begging his supporters to register as Republicans because they will not be able to support him in closed primary states. We already knew it wasn't Republicans supporting him. It's libertarians, disgruntled conservatives and liberals who will vote for Hillary in the general election. :ugh:
The big story today is money, how the Democrats are awash in it and the Republicans have none.
There's a rumor floating around that Michelle Malkin has declined any further guest hosting appearances for O'Reilly. Not sure if it's true or not but she has sometimes been treated disgracefully by Geraldo Rivera. Bad enough that Fox News really should have done something about it, IMO. :angst:
Be careful out in the forum. Those working for Hillary's election are all over the place and come in varying incarnations. :lookaround.

I wish that "everything that came from Nevada, stayed in Nevada." course, people say the same for Cali... oh, well.
Be careful out in the forum.
And still over a year away.. can't wait to see who our nominee is so I can SUPPORT THE CRUD OUTTA HIM!!!
(When's Bobby gonna spray for trolls anyway? )
And SHAME ON NOBEL!! When I read that she was overlooked in favor of MYTHOLOGICAL METEOROLOGY MAN... I just :barf:
He shoulda gotten the Ig Nobel Prize (http://www.ignobel.com/ig/ig-pastwinners.html#ig2 007).... his theory fits right in, just take a look. Next year the Nobel Prize Committee should get one too.

Terri, will you be attending the World Series?
We need to disinfect for :troll: every morning and we need to have a guard guarding the place.

The recent winners of the Nobel Peace Prize (with the possible exception of Mother Teresa) are so inappropriate and ridiculous that the whole concept has lost any meaning whatsoever. I mean...Jimmy Carter, Nelson Mandela, Yassir Arafat, COME ON NOW! The only possible good that may come of this is that Prince Algore may use this as an excuse to run for Presidnt and take some of the wind out of Hellary's sails Ha Ha Ha!

Good Morning:
I'm at work and have a few minutes before I have to get "down and dirty".
Getting back to the gray world of politics Harry Reid's favorable rating in Nevada is at 32%. What is wrong with that state anyway? How could it be that high?
Nevada is pretty conservative and Harry Reid's antics might be his downfall in 2010 when his term is up. At least, I hope so.
Not sure if it's true or not but she has sometimes been treated disgracefully by Geraldo Rivera.
Geraldo treats everybody disgracefully, so I have a strong trendency to think it is true.
The cartoon todays says, "A LOUD MESSAGE.":D
Have a good day! :wavey:
Another glorious day in Paradise, cool, breezy and sunny, just fine as schillerbjr's wine!
Guy popped over last night, bearing food and wine and kisses and hugs, what a good man!
Biz iz so slow....I've brokers from everywhere asking if I had any deals to do. What few I have, they are welcome to co-broker with me, some pennies are better than NO pennies, I always say.......
The Nobel Peace prize is nothing more than a JOKE now. I see nothing good about it. I hope this does make Gore run, I'd rather him, a complete idiot be Pres (if us Repubs can't win)than Satan in a skirt totally destroy our country.
Ron Paul is foolish idiot.
The Dems may be awash in money NOW, but once we have a candidate, OUR guy is gonna blow 'em away. We may not have Soros the money bags on our side, but we do have Steve Forbes and other quiet welthy people.
Back to churning......

Another you-know-what day in east central Wisconsin.
I'm happy your bro is coming home from the Seabees, TGImR. Wouldn't it be nice if all the terrorists would take a long holiday so all the warriors could come home. Of course, according to Merle Haggard, it isn't that there's any danger, it's because George Bush is trying to scare hell out of us. Boy, it bugs me when someone who was perfectly normal changes into a knuckle-dragging, liberal troglodyte!!
(When's Bobby gonna spray for trolls anyway? )
:rotflo: :hilarious: Good one RD.
Tomorrow's the day I take my signs and go to Madison for the tax rally. Hope I'm not standing there all by myself, covered in signs. Oh well, at least they'd keep me warm.
I'm glad they're shuttling us around with buses, too, because the capitol is on top of a hill. I've done that up and down business on foot and wasn't fond of it at all.
Congratulations on your Rockies, Terri. I heard this morning that you have :football: going on at the other end of town, too, on the same day. Sounds like an exciting time in Denver.
:excited: Hoooooraay! The governor tried to ram his tax budget through last night but the Assembly Republicans hung tough and the bill fell through.
The Dems are trying to shame the Pubbies into giving up. All the news stations are reporting that we're the only state in the union that doesn't have a budget! Well guess what, guys, we're not that happy to take on taxes of a billion dollars more. Some of the Assembly Dems are actually standing up in the Assembly and saying the lack of a budget is "all your fault" to the Republicans. The Republicans should all stand up and take bows to that one. I must get in my e-mail and send them "thanks".
I sent them one last week telling them not to go wobbly on us. God bless Margaret Thatcher!!
Time to take a sneaky peeky and then do that e-mail.

Good morning everyone! Promises to be a pleasant day here. It's :sunspin: and by afternoon, should be about 66 degrees. Trees are still very colorful, but about half the leaves are now on the ground. As is our habit, we'll let the winds blow them away. That's one of the great advantages to living at the top of a hill. :D
SS, I like your new avator. Are we related in some way? I notice your :boy: looks just like mine. Could be twins if not for the age difference. :hilarious:
Harry Reid's favorable rating in Nevada is at 32%. What is wrong with that state anyway? How could it be that high? :str:
He knows he's got 3 years to turn those numbers around. He's counting on the short memory of his base.
The big story today is money, how the Democrats are awash in it and the Republicans have none.
This is very concerning to me. We can't win unless our candidates can get their message out. I've been doing what I can but don't have those deep pockets our side needs. :(
There's a rumor floating around that Michelle Malkin has declined any further guest hosting appearances for O'Reilly. Not sure if it's true or not but she has sometimes been treated disgracefully by Geraldo Rivera. Bad enough that Fox News really should have done something about it, IMO. :angst:
They are on opposite sides of the immigration issue and both have strong feelings about it. I try not to listen to GR at all but recently did hear him say something along the lines of MM should be slapped around for her views.
He's certainly not a gentleman and I think he should be off FNC instead of having his own show. Guess he's on for the "Fair and Balanced" part. :ugh:

Illegal immigration is a worse threat to our society than terrorism is. We can attack terrorists but political correctness forbids us from attacking the Central American gangs in away that might control them. The more illegals we put in prison the more control they get of the prison system. Being in prison is an honor that enhances their status on the streets and if we deport them they create their own cell back in their home country and bring it back to a city near you. The MS13 gang is so dangerous that the Mafia just gives them what ever they want and Ted Kennedy wants to make them citizens. Having an MS13 tattoo on their face doesn’t cause them any trouble because questioning people with MS13 tattoos would be “”PROFILING”” and that is worse than having to jump from the WTC towers with your cloths on fire, in the eyes of the liberal horde.
I wonder if the MS13 coyotes refuse to help terrorists get into the US?

Hi everyone. :wavey:
I am home from school.
I left my spiral notebook for marketing class at home. Luckily, I had my folder with extra notebook paper. I will transfer my notes I took today into my notebook. On Thursday, our professor will go over our class projects. We will have an exam in two weeks, so I will start preparation for a high A.
What gives to the Nobel Peace Prize? The Nobel Peace Prize should not be rewarding to communist leaders and those who made up stuff such as: global warming.

Good evenin' y'all
Well, I survived my dreaded day at the bank with the "Mucky mucks" from the new bank. The way their visit was made to sound, they'd be there all day. They were there a whole 20 minutes, asked some questions and left. http://smileys.smileycentra l.com/cat/23/23_4_77.gif (http://www.smileycentral.co m/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZS )
There are a lot of things I see this election cycle I don't like. I'm not loving the choices we have been handed... however, I will still staunchly support whomever we choose. I will NEVER vote Democratic... not even if someone held a http://smileys.smileycentra l.com/cat/12/12_9_6.gif (http://www.smileycentral.co m/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZS ) to my head and I had no other choice.
My sister is arriving Friday night for a weekend visit. I have a heavy feeling in the pit of my gut. This is not going to be a good weekend. Something tells me we may be headed back to the Northwest before this whole fiasco is over. :ugh:
http://smileys.smileycentra l.com/cat/36/36_33_21.gif (http://www.smileycentral.co m/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZS ) The cats are settling into their new surroundings very nicely. Mom gets a kick out of watching Pixel, our boy, play with hubby. Sassy, the little female, has really captured her interest. I think the little furballs might have been just what she needs
I'm very uncomfortable, so I'm going to head off to bed. I will be here as I feel up to it. I miss you all so much when I'm not here like I'm used to.

BOR is back to his old tricks of showing salacious junk so we are watching less and less of him. Michelle is smart to not show up there. Laura Ingraham has brought him to task on the salacious junk--good for her. Also, what's with all this dum stuff he's been doing? Body language-- :withstupid: and game show junk? Stick with the news. Now about Geraldo--he's an imbecile, especially on immigration. He makes no rational sense, pretty much ever on pretty much everything, if you ask me. And I think FNC is imbecilic to allow him to trash Michelle. I'd definitely keep her, and boot Geraldo. :boots: I never watch him unless hubs makes me
I rarely watch H&C anymore either. I did watch the Guiliani interview tonight though. Both he and his wife were on--I never saw the Thompson one, but I have a feeling that Mitt's wife will appear more "first ladyish" than Judy Guiliani did. Sometimes they just acted kind of goofy together. JMNSHO :biggrin2: I liked the Ann Romney website Terri posted a week or so ago.
Sunday night is a Republican Debate on FNC moderated by my favorite--Britt Hume
This also made it to national news tonight, on the Britt Hume news-- Dr. Bob Jones, III who is chancellor of Bob Jones University said they were going to support Mitt Romney.
Back to work for me!

Howdy y'all! Pills are in, sippin' my sleepy-tea, I'm printing out some copies of my ad to post locally, and thought I'd :pop: in for a few.
Lucky, the :boy: looks nothing like my Sonny-Boy--he was a cute blond chubber, now he's a big cuddly blond teddy-bear. I bet your little guy is as cute and sweet. Does he look like :boy: ? And does your gal look like :tails: ?
I actually look like :geekgirl: :D (Good trivia question, how many of us resemble emoties here?) Ya never know--we could be related!
Tomorrow is my day at the Home, then off to church to clean and do some guts-cutting (I ran out of "guts" for the Jessica bags so I'll just take the stuff with me and cut more). Hopefully Mom-of-Bride will pick up her dress--I haven't heard from her yet. I will also cut Sonny-Boy's :inlove: 's kimono if time allows.
I will have a full complement of 6 rooms to do tomorrow, one of my Friday Sweeties moved to the vacant room on my Wed. hall. And her previous room has been taken, so I will have my full complement to do Friday too, and the Home is at full census. Makes for a long day, but my Sweeties make it worth it. "Burds" and "dawgs" make for an interesting day too (we have four dawgs now).

Have to admit I'm very concerned for our country's future and the political news just seems to get worse all the time. Sometimes I need a little break, but find I can't stay away for too long. If we don't stay informed, we can't fight back.
I have a question for anyone who can answer it.
If LOST is signed, is there a way to get out of it in the future if and when people come to their senses and realize what they've signed? I believe we have done so in the past with other treaties by informing the signatories that we will no longer be bound by the treaty, but would like to be sure.
If we enter into this treaty, the UN will have juridiction over 70% of the world's oceans. Our subs would no longer be able to operate underwater. We wouldn't be able to stop suspected terrorist ships. Our military operations wouldn't be able to freely operate as they do now. You might say our military would be operating under UN control. This is a huge threat to our sovereignty and from what I hear, it's expected to be signed.
I think Jeri Thompson seemed more adult than Judy Giuliani did but I Ann Romney will put them both in the shade. She's very much a lady.
Giuliani is not my choice and I don't approve of the way they handled their personal lives. You don't date one person while you're still married to another in MHO.
If he wins the primaries, I'll support him, but I'm hoping for almost anyone else.
I did like both the Thompson and Romney women. I think either would be nice first ladies and not be prone to scandals as Hillary was.
SSLucky, the :boy: looks nothing like my Sonny-Boy--he was a cute blond chubber, now he's a big cuddly blond teddy-bear. I bet your little guy is as cute and sweet. Does he look like :boy: ? And does your gal look like :tails: ?
Actually, I think Terri had them in mind when she chose the emoties. :)
:boy: is of normal weight, but leaning to the slim side as he is losing his baby looks and growing like a weed. He's quite tall for his age. He's got thick brown hair and hazel eyes.
:tails: has brown hair about the length depicted, sometimes wearing it in that style, with hazel eyes too. She's average height for her age, but on the slim side. Just like the emotie, she is supposed to wear glasses except when she's reading.
I'm not telling what I look like these days. I'll just say I was attractive enough to have plenty of dates before I married. I don't recognize myself if I look in a mirror these days. :eh:
Hubs either fell  in his chair or failed to tell me when he went upstairs as he always does. I'd better see which it is.
Night all!

Good morning everyone. :wavey:
I place chocolate chip muffins in the lounge.
I have been noticing the precinct hasn't had very many visits.
I know for one thing, we cannot be chickens during the election. We must toughen up and be brave in order for us to beat Hillary Clinton. I want the Democrats to act like chickens, but not us.
Last night, I was looking for a recipe I had misplaced, so I finally found it on this website. I was missing my butternut cream pie recipe, so I can make it soon and for Thanksgiving.
I will be going to the Y after work. Today is my hard cardio day. It takes me 1-1/2 hours to 2 hours to complete my workout.
