Presidential candidate John Edwards is caught in a shocking mistress scandal that could wreck his campaign, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

Sources have come forward to charge that the "other woman" previously worked on Edwards' campaign and followed the 54-year-old candidate on trips across the U.S.

A source close to the woman, whose name is being withheld by The NATIONAL ENQUIRER, says that she confessed to having an affair in phone calls and emails, saying that her work with Edwards soon exploded into romance. The shocking allegation — if proven true — could devastate the Democratic hopeful's campaign, especially because John's devoted wife Elizabeth is locked in a desperate battle with breast cancer.

True? Who knows but I would guess it probably is.

If so, another horndog bites the dust?

OR will the MSM cover this up?

OR is it just resume enhancement for :jacka: voters?

Scrubbed: Edwards Filmmaker's Deleted Website Raises Questions (http://www.huffingtonpost.c om/2007/10/10/scrubbed-edwards-filmmak_n_67868.html )

A set of short documentary film "webisodes" made for former Sen. John Edwards prior to his presidential candidacy continues to weave a curious web, this time involving the filmmaker.

The videos, which cost Edwards' One America Committee $114,461, were produced in 2006 by an aspiring actress/producer named Rielle Hunter, who proposed the idea to the senator in a bar in New York City. The objective was to give viewers - and presumably voters - an authentic look at the North Carolinian. But shortly after Edwards declared his White House aspirations, the footage all but disappeared from public view. After the Huffington Post wrote about the webisodes, the videos resurfaced, both on YouTube and Webcastr.com, although the anonymous individual who reposted them (user name: "MissingVideos") has not responded to emails.

I don't think it matters too much as Edwards chance at the White House, IMO, is remote. If brought out it will give the media sharks some more meat to feed on until the next victim comes along.

Breckie is such a narcissist that he fits the role of the guy in the joke who, at the peak of carnal excitement, screams out his own name.

Still, it is the National Enquirer (http://www.nationalenquirer .com/celebrity/64271) floating this story. I place greater credence in that publication than any of the broadcast networks or the New York Times.

In any case, Edwards is a cinch to get lots of free air time on the Daily Show, Letterman, Leno and the other news outlets for the Hillary network.

I wonder if he'll sue. I wonder if Elizabeth has a lawyer.

Edwards Denies Tabloid Report of Affair (http://www.gopusa.com/news/2007/october/1012_edwards_affair. shtml)

SUMMERTON, S.C. (AP) -- Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards says a tabloid story that he had an extramarital affair is untrue.

''The story is false. It's completely untrue, ridiculous,'' Edwards told reporters Thursday after he was asked about the National Enquirer report.

The supermarket newspaper reported that the former North Carolina senator had an affair with a woman who worked on his campaign. It did not identify the woman, nor did it name the source of the information for its report.

''The story is false. It's completely untrue, ridiculous,''

Just assume that the story is false: It's still good to see Edwards get a taste of his own medicine. Look at all the false testimony and twisted litigation that he used to accumulate money for himself through the years in fallacious lawsuits.

IMO, Edwards is down for the count now.

But, considering the moral standards of the dumbdems, this could be a plus in his corner. If so, wonder if :witch: may come up with a sugar-daddy in the next few months. She'll have to check out the polls before deciding.

The Clintonite who owns National Enquirer (http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1007/The_Clintonite_who_o wns_National_Enquire r.html)

The Politico

The political world has been holding its nose for the last twenty-four hours while peering at the weekly tabloid National Enquirer, which published a story yesterday alleging that presidential candidate John Edwards had an extra-marital affair.

"The story is false," Edwards told reporters in South Carolina today, according to a reporter who was there.

What the tabloid's readers, in politics and out, may not know is that a key owner of the Enquirer is a prominent New York investment banker and one of Hillary Clinton's key backers, Roger Altman. Altman was an official in the first Clinton administration, and his name is often mentioned as a possible Clinton Treasury Secretary.

he loves his wife, Elizabeth

Love has nothing to do with an affair such as the one described in the tabloid (which I do not read) and in this article (which I did read). It is called "lust" and is totally different from "love". Lots of married people who love their spouses "fall in lust" and have an affair and later wish they had not done the deed.

Lust is a desire to gratify sexual desire. Love is a strong attachment, devotion or attachment which can be passionate and include sexual gratification.

Elizabeth has cancer and has been through surgery, chemo, etc. She probably has not always been available to meet her husband's needs. It is possible and extremely probable that this story is true.

Don't forget the tabloid is owned by a Clintonista and Hillary is not above slinging a little "barnyard refuse" in order to cancel out an opponent! I doubt the information would have been "leaked" if she did not have proof of the allegation.

I would imagine that Elizabeth said the same thing to the Breck Girl that Hillary probably said to Slick over Monica: "You idiot! Couldn't you do it without getting caught?!"

"You idiot! Couldn't you do it without getting caught?!"

This is probably more true than we all think.

Man, oh man! I Loooooove teh intarweb!!

The great thing about it is that you can't stuff the documents in, say, Sandy Bergers pants, and have these documents go missing.
After the Huffington Post wrote about the webisodes, the videos resurfaced, both on YouTube and Webcastr.com, although the anonymous individual who reposted them (user name: "MissingVideos") has not responded to emails.
In case you're wanting to see those videos (perhaps a glimpse of what they're desperately trying to hide), you can find them here, at MissingVideo's Youtube (http://youtube.com/user/MissingVideos) site.

Happy viewing!

Boy, this sure reminds me of Bill (http://img.search.com/thumb/8/8b/Monita.jpg/200px-Monita.jpg)and Monica (http://www.countryjoe.com/hug.jpg).

Think I would be more inclined to watch/listen to Breck Girl if he were a Chippendale dancer than a so-called pol - sure loved his jet!
