* * * Fresh on the heels of declaring success for the cancellation of Janeane Garofalo’s ABC sitcom, Patriotic Americans Boycotting Anti-America Hollywood is going after Ed Asner.
* * * The former “Lou Grant” star, who is playing Santa in the upcoming flick “Elf,” is under fire because he is among the people who signed a petition that some deemed pro-Castro.
* * * “PABAAH will be actively campaigning against this film,” the group’s Jon Alvarez tells The Scoop, “and we will be contacting all involved to inform them of our utter disgust at the Castro-loving, America-hating Ed Asner playing Santa.”
