Just announced on the Dow Jones

At 2:43pm(est) today the Dow Jones showed EVERY stock in the DowJones was up^.

Does anyone feel this is a fluke? Is there going to be an upcoming correction?

I would like to know what everyone's opinion is. I don't remember this event ever happening before. All Markets are ahead with impressive numbers right now.

Bill, my gut feeling is that it was just a fluke. However, if it is true, then I made a bucket load of money today. (Too bad it's just on paper).

I'm sure people who lost a ton on 911 are more skeptical about reinvesting. My husband put ours back in and showed me the statement last night - up 15% for the year so far! Not too bad, soon should recover what we lost that day. Doesn't worry us as much as others, because being in our early thirties we have a lot of time to recover. But don't be decieved - we will NOT have social security when we are eligible. There just won't be any there! The only thing we will have is what we make/save/invest - so every dime counts! I'm thrilled to see the market rise, and hope this is a continuing trend over the long haul - not just this week.
