It's a damn shame in my opinion that this subject is worthy of any attention at all considering the reams of news available concerning the work of our Soldiers and Marines in Iraq for just one example. I don't come here for the Paris Hilton view of the foreign news. Suffer through this lackluster junk I will not do for long.

No problem. The door swings both ways.
The forum is full of news about Iraq, news about what happened in Congress today, all kinds of news. I posted a new Michael Yon dispatch this week and I don't think it got one comment.
But you find this thread to complain about? Hey, it's a big Internet.

Mighty big statement. I did not know you were an arbiter of who is who in the Republican Party.
Opened my mail box yesterday and lo and behold there was this itty bitty magazine: Rising Tide.
While some of you were posting in here this evening, I was out where Rudy doesn't tread: a meeting of Fire Fighters in our Metro chatting with the leadership about what is to be down about State Senator Ward Crutchfield and who will fill his seat, since the Feds took Ward's guilty plea on bribery in Memphis today. Some people might call this type activilty party building. I'm not sure what it's called here.
Terri, are you sure the door swings both ways or just your way?

You came here complaining about an article posted in this forum. That has nothing to do with the Republican Party.

This has something to do with a Fat Tax in Great Britain?
Terri, are you sure the door swings both ways or just your way?
We may find out.

Fat tax is of no import? Sorry, but I disagree.
It's just another way for the elites to MAKE US BEHAVE like THEY think we should.
Laugh it off if you want, we did that with Global Warming and our current "people" on the Hill want to pass sweeping legislation that will effect us all... oh, it won't save the earth, but it will resditribute the wealth, and further the cause of socialism.
Just wait till we get (some form of) socialized medicine here... then they CAN AND WILL dictate to us how we will eat, what we wilL drink, smoke, and how often we exercize.. or NO COVERAGE.
I think it's important... but then, as I've been reminded, I am no one.

FEChancellor,
The :gopusa: forum seems to provide something for everyone; even complainers.
I sure don't understand why you are griping about an article that might interest some of our members. (myself included).
You have the same rights as everyone else on this forum, and you can post an article about your firefighters and comment on why you think it is important, and share with us instead of criticizing.
What is your problem? Are only your opinions valid? Somehow I don't think so. And, the last time I checked "the door does swing both ways".

This makes even less sense in the full light of day. :laff:
