James Carville: Dems Will Win in '08
NewsMax
Former Clinton political strategist James Carville says a Democrat will win the 2008 presidential race. He's just not sure which one.
James Carville, who worked for former President Clinton, spoke Saturday night at the Palm Beach County Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson fundraiser.
Carville said either Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton or Sen. Barack Obama will win the White House next year, and added that voter dissatisfaction with President Bush will allow Democrats to widen their majority in Congress.

Snake has dreams - some could come true IF the idiot Pubs don't start listening to their consitituients. If they would get some backbone and conservative all-American ideals back on the burner, they'll take back the house and senate. If they keep playing "footsies" with Teddy (burp) and Dirty Harry, they'll be selling shoes in Des Moines!
Fred CAN take the White house, as could Rudy (McCaniac is "toast" - too much dimorat in his blood) The dims just don't like Hillary and I'll bet there's lots of dirt in Obama's house regarding his questionable background, and he's just "air". Edwards...? Don't make me laugh, what a JOKE. There's nothing in that party to even inspire the dems. It's a perfect time to take back the "Reagan Democrats" who still care about this country. And I think there's a lot of them out there. Just like you and me, they've just been "hornswoggled" like Bush has done us with with immigration.
The Wall Street Journal is afraid of a populist president (most likely Fred?) but I don't understand why conservative ideals could harm the economy OR this country. I think the "Wall" is in bed with the limousine Pubs waaaay too much to see the whole picture. How would giving our sovereignty away provide us with a strong America? DUH!!!!! Too many tax breaks I guess! And of course those 12 million + immigrants will save social security...... NOT!!!!

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS:
A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t--d by the clean end.
We'll see. Mr. Duncan Hunter's Presidential campaign is doing a steady plodding, regardless of the undifferentiated noise of the nay sayers of any political stripe.
And we individual and grouped American grass roots conservatives have already shown our true power, via the internet, talk radio, and our conservative internet news. Among our most notable examples of our clear and present power at conservative citizens? Our participation in self-governance by stripping out the anti-conservative grass roots lobbying legislation RIGHT in that Democratically-controlled 110th Congress, right in committee as far as the worse House version is concerned--right in the Communist liberal hypocrit Pelosi's face no less. And two Thursday's back on June 7, we individual conservatives and groups showed not only the liberal Democrats desire to enslave the illegal infiltrator eventual vote (or why do you think they want to fast track their citizenship so badly?), but also their RINO cohorts, Kyle and Graham, no less, as well as McCain (it figures), and President Bush besides, reducing him to whining about his fellow conservative American grass roots citizens. What a victory! What a set of victories that we conservative individuals can build mightily upon....when the stacked Congressional and Presidential deck tries this again this or next week.
It's one thing if it is just our conservative Forum that is outraged. We are, after all, a prevalently conservative group, that some of us noted may not be nationally prevalent. But with nation-wide conservative victories happening, that is some kind of very hard work and foundationing that we conservatives can build upon across the nation.
Avoid getting mind-poisoned by the MSM, the best news is from the conservative internet like this Forum and site, and talk radio.
We'll see, Mr. Carville. 18 months is a bit of a way off.

I fear that Mr. Carville may well be right in his prediction for several reasons; the most important one being that - with the help of our president and several GOP senators - America will have 20+ million more democratic "voters" by then. If you doubt the problem, consider this:

wb4cab has neatly spelled out a lot of reasons to go for Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo. Mr. Hunter has proven his mettle in fighting against this illegal infiltration. And that is why the MSM is trying very hard to blank Mr. Hunter out, but not succeeding, as Mr. Hunter has been using CNN, even Wolf Blitzer, and other liberal networks to good advantage, and getting better at it. Sort of reminiscent of Mr. Reagan using the liberal MSM of the 1980s to Mr. Reagan's best advantage.
One of Mr. Hunter's campaign strategy is to plod along, informing the American electorate of the issues affecting us all as a nation, step by step. No panicking, no undo hurrying as befitting a future American Chief Executive, just focused concentration on our conservative issues, particularly illegal infiltration nowadays.
I fear that Mr. Carville may well be right in his prediction for several reasons; the most important one being that - with the help of our president and several GOP senators ...Mr. Carville may or may not be right, in the end. While it doesn't help for erstwhile conservative Pubs like Kyle and Graham to allow themselves to get co-opted this way, also Senator Sam (Brownback, an otherwise champion of life in all respects where Mayor Rudy Giuliani is definitely not, wherer Governor Mitt Romney flipped into in a most timely political fashion, and where Senator John McCain just caned himself but good, with Senators Hillary and Obama dishes up phony sweet talk along with Mr. Edwards transparent to us conservatives who discern this), there are other conservative forces working and plowing ahead that we individual American grass roots conservative citizens can support, like all-around conservative Duncan Hunter.

All one has to do is listen to this dolt speak to come to the conclusion he rode the short bus to school... but Carville is probably right.
I only say this after watching our country allow democrats to take control of both houses in congress.
If Americans are dumb enough to put our most dangerous enemy in charge of congress, then they are dumb enough to allow them to get control of the Whitehouse as well.
Our country is doomed... the writing is on the wall and it isn't written in English.

I certainly hope that Mr. Carville is not right. Fred Thompson has a great shot at winning and he represents more people than the MSM will admit.
In the great scheme of things, even a RINO would be better than one of the frontrunner Dems, but not by much... What we really need is someone who will use the bully pulpit to rally the following reforms:
Close the borders
Start enforcing the laws we already have
Let the military do what they do best - break stuff and then rebuild it
Make the tax cuts permanent
Reduce/eliminate earmarks
(of course, that's just my list -- I'm sure you all have your own list of items)
I know that whoever becomes president can't do all of that on their own, but they have to be willing to expend political capital to get some things done on the "conservative agenda" or we will keep drifting to the left.

It seems that the snake is right. 2 reasons Iraq and Hispanics.
Who is pushing the inmigration bill?- Bush
Is Cheney mute about inmigration?
If GOP does not get at least 35% of the latino vote there is no way jose.
90% of blacks will vote for a yellow dog DEM
The so called progressive crowd does not like the "moderates" Hillary, Obama but they do not have a place to go.
The numbers do not add for us. without Florida we cannot win
90% of 30 millions legal hispanics have illegal relatives. At least 5 million born in USA from illegal parents will be 18 in 08, 10 million in 2012.
The corporations, the backbone of the GOP, want cheap labor, they are the real friends of Illegal aliens. No corporations is going to give one cent to a candidate that is going to deny them the access to cheap labor. Witout money and without the latino vote how are we suposed to win
Bush is paying the price of the amnesty and the Dems are collecting the goodies.
The Iraq war is killing the GOP, the dems do not really want to lose the war anymore, they want to keep fighting for 2 more years. Iraq is gold for the Dems.
How come none of the main rep candidates have made a strong oposition to Mc Cain on inmigration. Money my friends, the common Joe who is anti inmigrant got no money to give for campaign contibutions.
None, zero, zip of the rep candidates have challenge Mc cain or Bush on inmigration Why? They need the corporations money and they need the latino vote.

How come none of the main rep candidates have made a strong oposition to Mc Cain on inmigration.
Actually, Mitt Romney is the so-called "top tier" candidate who has challenged McCain on immigration.
McCain, Romney clash over immigration (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070604/ap_on_el_pr/republicans_immigrat ion)
Critics press Romney on immigration view (http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2007/06/01/critics_press_romney _on_immigration_view /)

He doesn't understand the real soul of this country. The country may be dissatisfied with the Bush administration but, as a whole, the country is looking for a real conservative that understands true american values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. When it comes down to it, the country will see that Barack Clinton and Hillary Obama only want greater control over the people.

The Republicans need good Conservative candidates to replace the Socialist, Communist Rinos such as McCain, Trent Lott, Bush and others who are bent on globalizing the USA
Then lets support the best conservatives that we can find with our $$, time, and campaigning, and keep this citizenship thing up as our lifestyle!!
Anyrate, Carville is making self-serving statements. They all do.
Now if a liberal says that the conservatives are going to take 2008 with specific reasonings or vice versa, then I sit up and take notice.
