TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (UPI) -- Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani Wednesday said he supports public funding for some abortions, a position he held as mayor, CNN reported.

The remark is likely put the Republican presidential nomination contender at odds with social conservatives, CNN said.

Ironic that women, the supposedly more compassionate of the two sexes, have killed more human life in the past 40 years in this country than the men here have killed in ALL the wars we have ever fought in COMBINED and multiplied by 10!!

At least the men can claim they killed in the name of LIBERTY and FREEDOM, women claim to kill in the name of CHOICE?

1,500,000 babies are brutally killed each year in the USA alone... thanks mommy

Rudy does not reflect the values of the majority of conservative voters and his views on values issues is completely out of touch with the views of those voters. If the National Republican Party continues to support candidates with these views they will get no support from true conservatives.

Yes, Dummocrat, all those women who had abortions were solely in control of their decisions. The laws legalizing abortions were passed by phantom women in legislatures, the court decisions were handed down by phantom female judges and Supreme Court Justices. The women got pregnant without the input and opinions of males, they made the decision to abort without the assistance of males and all the medical personnel involved were specially selected females. Let's don't gloat because one form of taking a life is more "noble" than another. Dead is dead. Don't compare war dead and dead babies along gender lines, because there is plenty of guilt to be shared.

Abortion is murder and every party involved, male or female, is equally guilty. Rudy Guilianni will never get my vote.

Abortion is an issue that you cannot compromise on. There is no moral ambiguity in my opinion. If you are not opposed to abortion in every way, shape or form, you are for it.

Rudy has values of the lowest life left wing demoncrats, we knew that before he ever became a candidate, so this is no surprise, just a normal RINO who wants to change the party to suit his corrupt moral values. NO WAY JOSE.

We were in the car this afternoon and couldn't find any clear channels without static, so we had to listen to Sean and someone called in and said they were disheartened by Rudy's obvious abortion stance. Sean said he personally talked to Rudy yesterday and Rudy said he didn't mean it the way it sounded  Sean bought it; but, Marc Levin called and said "Thanks for clarifying the 4000th stance Rudy has had on abortion." Right on, Marc. Sean has deeply lost it.
