Well, here's a new "twist" on the amnesty tunnel. It seems we are going to get it jammed down our throats whether we want it or not. Very creative, doncha think?

Thanks for the heads-up, Rebel. I'm going to go post this elsewhere, I see I'm not the only person from here.

It sure sounds like amnesty AGAIN from what I've read in the pdf file, now Bush is trying to call it a "Z visa". Sheeze.

I just "discovered" what Theodore The Red-Nosed Kennedy has been up to and the reason he hasn't been verbosing all over the place like Blinky and Pastie.

Teddy has been very, very busy.... check this out.

I will be registering my "nay" vote for sure.

I have the answer to the illegal alien problem. Make Geraldo responsible for them. They screw up, Geraldo pays. And he has to live with them.

I can't stand Her-Aldo, but I just wonder what he'd be bloviating IF it were HIS daughter(s) who were killed by an illegal, drunk or otherwise? I wouldn't wish his kids any harm, of course, but I can't help wondering about those who have never "walked a mile" in someone else's shoes shooting off their mouth in defense of a drunk illegal who should have been jailed the first time out and then deported and warned that if he ever showed up again this side of the Rio Grande, he'd be imprisoned for life!

This plan is apparently not too popular with at least some of the illegal immigrants:

LOS ANGELES -- Thousands of people marched through downtown Saturday, demanding a way for the country's estimated 12 million illegal immigrants to become citizens and condemning President Bush's latest proposal.

Carrying signs saying ''Amnesty Now,'' about 15,000 danced to Mexican ranchera music and passed large American flags over their heads.

Organizers said many illegal immigrants were angry about a White House plan that would grant them work visas but require them to return home and pay thousands to become legal U.S. residents.
