I have been fuming about the BBC report, of course reported as fact by LA Times columnist Robert Sheers, that the Private Lynch rescue was a staged sham and that there was no resistance at the hospital, no Iraqi forces present, that the Special Forces knew this and were carrying blanks.

This prevarication, so far has gone unchallenged by the administation or the military. *These so called 'cooperative" doctors only went to the military and offered to sell them information for $10,000, and never revealed where Jessica was. *This also flies in the face of the testimony of that lawyer who walked 6 miles to bring them the information.

We need to get this out for the lie that it is and demand an apology and retraction from the BBC and all major US publications who parroted this as gospel.

TIMES ACTUALLY THERE TO WITNESS THE INCIDENT. *NO, SO THAT THAT MEANS THEY GOT THEIR INFORMATION FROM SOMEBODY ELSE WHOSE RELABILITY IS COMPLETELY UNKNOWN - SO THE RELIABILITY OF THE STORY IS ZILCH. *WITH THE RELIABILITY OF NEWS REPORTERS IN QUESTION, BOTH PRINT AND TELEVISION, DUE TO RECENT REVELATIONS CONCERNING THEIR MISDEEDS. *I HAVE ADOPTED THE ATTITUDE THAT MOST REPORTERS ARE WORKING ON THEIR PULIZER PRIZE AND WILL GO TO ANY MEANS TO GET IT. *GOOD LUCK ON GETTING YOUR APOLOGY OR RETRACTION. *I AM NOT HOPEFUL. *THERE IS HOPE SINCE A LOT OF THESE CHARACTERS ARE GETTING CAUGHT. *KEEP THE FAITH.
