This, most likely would refer to the case of the Iraqi ambulance that refused to stop when being ordered to do so at a U.S. Military check point.

Only a complete fool refuses to obey the orders of armed soldiers in a war zone. *If they were fired upon after being ordered to halt and did not do so, they deserve what they get.

Of course, I don't expect the Euros in Brussels to think logically.

I do remember one news report showing Iraqi soldiers using ambulances for transportation.

They also had ambulances carrying weapons. Belguim is a lot like France - just trying to be a power but it will never work. We can move NATO HQ to Poland or one of the other countries that side with us - don't know what they would do with the vacant buildings. In fact Belguim is so powerful, we could ignor them and maybe they would go away. Belguim and France used to be part of my territory when I was a Federal Agent and the people in the country can't even communicate amoungst themselves - they speak Walloon, Flemish and French, along with a smattering of German.

Friends, the simple fact is that Belgium, much like France, has overestimated it's importance and jurisdiction. Anything that Belgium attempts to inflict upon the United States of America will amount to nothing except a minor inconvenience. Belgium is as significant as Cuba in dictating world affairs, nothing more.

The only thing I have found Belgium to be useful for is their chocolates. Ummmm. However, since I have some weight to lose, I don't think I will be missing them anytime soon. Can't think of anything else that I have ever bought that was made in Belgium. If I had, it sure couldn't have been important or I would have remembered it. --- Ruth ---
