If any of you can turn Fox News on you should. They are showing some very dramatic fire photos from California. It's very bad. 3 firefighters have been killed and right now there are several hundred people trapped in an RV park.
Please get the right picture here. I am typing this with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Perhaps, with all the injuries and deaths we have had fighting fires out west, it's time to redeploy to another location (maybe Michigan?), since we obviously can't win this battle. We put one fire out, the enemy just starts another one. We obviously have no plan for winning this war, and the authorities in charge are a bunch of bumbling boobs who should be sacked, and the head honcho probably skewed information and sent the firefighters into the wrong place at the wrong time, and generally lied the firefighters into the whole thing anyway. Don't get me wrong, I support our firefighters, but I just can't support a losing mission like this and just want our guys home. Why can't we just sit down with the other side and talk this over and reason it out??? After all, it's just a small minority of fire that destroys like this, and most fire is totally peaceful and productive.
OK, now I'm being serious. First, my heart goes out to the families of those lost, and to the injured and those who have suffered property loss as well. My prayers are with you.
The thing is, we are up against an enemy in islamofascism that is as bent on death and destruction, and as mindless and implacable, as the fires we have had. Radical islamics bent on "Death to the Zionist entity!" and "Death to America!" cannot be reasoned with any more than a wildfire can. The only way to defeat a wildfire is to fight it with everything you have, until it is completely totally DEAD OUT GONE. If you leave even a coal of it somewhere, it can rise up again and start its destruction all over.
Nobody would go along with someone who seriously suggested what I said at the beginning--yet there are those who say exactly the same thing in regard to our real enemy, islamofascism.
Get the picture!!!
Blessings,
