While I remember with nostalgia my younger days, I also recall the fear of living on my own for the first time. As it is with all young adults, I faced some all-too grown-up decisions I wasn't necessarily prepared to make.
At 17, I was a college freshman considering my first taste of party punch, a sweet drink made from bottled fruit drinks and insidious grain alcohol. I didn't meditate long. It was free. I was at a party. I was thirsty. All my friends were diving in.
