A popular North Idaho mobile home park has been sold to a private commercial real estate developer.
TRESTLE CREEK, IDAHO -- Another well known North Idaho paradise has been bought out by big business. The Idaho Country Resort at Trestle creek on Lake Pend Oreille was sold to a private investor earlier this year and the owners and resident vacationers must be out by November 1.
Trestle Creek has long offered front row access to Lake Pend Oreille and the Monarch mountains. Residents and neighbors believe the scenic view and relatively low asking price are what drew developers to their area. Residents of the mobile home park have been enjoying the summer vacation spot for well over a decade with some owners renting out their trailers at an average price of 250 dollars per month.Source (http://www.kxly.com/index.php?sect_rank= 1§ion_id=559&story_id=4579)
Oh well life goes on.
