Rebuild before the collapse, please

Part 2:
Renewal and Rebuilding

My fellow frustrated Republicans who’re seething
with rage over perceived mistakes and failures by
our party’s top figures, it’s time to focus our unease
and unrest in a positive direction. If you are already
working for our party’s local and state candidates
then rustle up more time and energy to assure
the election of your candidates.

In case you don’t have any candidates you can
support then hustle out and find some young
Conservatives to assist in the furtherance of their
political careers because it’s with new Conservative
Politicians that we can renew the spirit into our
Republican Party. However because of our own
displeasure with how some Republicans have drifted
away from core Conservative values, isn’t an excuse
to hasten the collapse of our Grand Old Party by
squandering our valuable votes.

Renewing our efforts within our party and promoting
strong Conservative Candidates, when found, and
getting into local precincts and working to strengthen
our party’s political base are simple tasks that will
start rebuilding our GOP. Instead of squabbling
with other Republicans, start to heed their sage advise
on how best to revitalize the Conservative Revolution.

Divide and conquer is one of the ploys used by the
DemocRats so please don’t fall prey to their game.
It’s the future of our party and all America that’s at
stake and what say we work together to insure a
bright era for our children and grandchildren. It’s
easier to rebuild before our political collapse, later
may be way too late and mostly impossible.

The next part is up to you, please do choose wisely.

Just for the heck of it, and to answer the question for myself, "What do we stand for? What's our platform?", I found this:2004 Republican Party Platform: A Safer World and a More Hopeful America (http://www.gop.com/media/2004platform.pdf)

Our Party’s 2004 platform addresses the major issues facing America in the first
decade of the 21st century:

Winning the War on Terror …
because our government’s most solemn duty is to keep its citizens safe.

Ushering in an Ownership Era …
because a vibrant entrepreneurial spirit will keep our economy strong and
provide more opportunities for workers and families.

Building an Innovative Economy to Compete in the World …
because America can compete with anyone, anywhere, thanks to our entrepreneurs and
risk-takers who keep us on the cutting edge of technology and commerce.

Strengthening Our Communities …
because our children deserve to grow up in an America in which all their hopes and
dreams can come true.

Protecting Our Families …
because we respect the family’s role as a touchstone of stability and strength in an everchanging
world.

A lengthy read (92 pages), specifically outlining the problems and the proposed solutions.
