NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. authorities have arrested a New York man for broadcasting Hizbollah television station al-Manar, which has been designated a terrorist entity by the U.S. Treasury Department, prosecutors said on Thursday.

One of the biggest problems is that the majority of Americans are still blind to the dangers all around us. The Democratic leaders soothe any concerns Americans may have and have made the WOT Bush's war. Now they are saying the WOT is just hype to garner votes for Republicans and many are buying into it.

This is a time when we should all be united against our common enemy and instead, too many are playing politics with our future.

I've tried sending out warnings to those on my email list when I've gotten something non political that tells it like it is but have not gotten one response back. If I send a joke, I get many responses. People just don't want to believe our American way of life is in danger and want to go about their lives with their heads in the sand.

This does seem to be 'history repeating itself' but what can we do if no one will listen?

I guess I am one of those who sees the glass half full/ half empty. I believe in trying to be prepared as much as possible for all events and hope it never comes to that. I want that rosy future, but believe we are in a fight for the future of a free America and have to do what we can to ensure we keep America free.

The scary thing is that one doesn't have to be liberal to not see the danger we are in, I know true conservatives who don't believe we are in danger...they don't GET it.

"9/11 was just a fluke. Only peaceful muslims come here, the rest stay 'over there,' there are no longer welfare mothers, we have workfare now...." and on and on. They have head in the sand syndrome and it is just too scary for my taste.

Hey, it ain't paranoia if somebody's really out to get you... and they are!

This threat from the Islamists was a death sentence pronounced upon all of us long ago. The only way we can avoid it is by taking that death sentence and shoving it back through their teeth. The day we start trying to simply duck it, we're goners for sure.

I would advise something similar to what the Brits thought up during their darkest days against the Nazis... the creation of companies of "Home Defense Volunteers."
