How the Media Enable Terrorism

A major segment of the global media is behaving in a manner that makes terrorism and mass killings more likely rather than less likely. They enable and encourage terrorist slaughter of innocents by providing a propaganda bonanza for the terrorist cause. Without the gain, there would be less incentive for the horrific behavior.

This is true now with Israeli defensive measures against Hizbullah terrorism, and has been true for many years, especially during the long Arab-Israeli conflict. Not enough attention has been paid to media manipulation. It is long overdue that this be exposed and the media be confronted and held accountable.

The general public derives its perception of the wider reality beyond direct personal experience via the media. When the major media all sing a similar tune, the public generally assumes it is being honestly informed.Source (http://www.israelnationalne ws.com/article.php3?id=6440 )

I saw an ad on CBS last night with Katie Couric,"Most people don't just want to know what is going on in the world, I believe people want to know how the news affects them, and that is what I will do, starting on September....."

NO, I just want the NEWS and to H... with what any talking head thinks that I should think!

There have always been political SLANTS in news, whether written or broadcast, it is a people run world, not mechanical. But when the media manipulates the news, then we are in deep dookie.

Another example of the "drive-by media" controlling
the publics perception of a news story.

When is Anti-Semitism a Big Story?

Two anti-Semitic incidents occurred on July 28. Both took place on the West Coast; both involved an American venting his hostility to Jews. But only one of them became in the days that followed a big national story about anti-Semitism. The other was treated as a serious, but local, matter and drew only modest coverage around the country.

Incident A involved nothing more dangerous than a guy spewing crude anti-Semitic slurs when he was arrested for drunk driving; once sober, he publicly and profusely apologized. Incident B involved a Muslim gunman's premeditated assault on a prominent Jewish institution; his attack left one woman dead and sent five to the hospital, three of them in critical condition.

Which would you say was the bigger story?Source (http://www.israelnationalne ws.com/article.php3?id=6446 )
