There are three motivating factors at work with the Democrats that drives their intense enmity toward Republicans and conservatives, and although it is nothing new, it explains such treachery as the deliberate leaks of clandestine programs by the Clintonista shadow government, and the damage to our nation’s national security by the likes of the New York Times that indiscriminately publishes that information.

First, the left is trying to relive the ‘60s and Deep Throat, the Pentagon Papers and the American pullout from Vietnam. These glory days were an exhilarating power trip for left-wingers. "Bygod I guess we showed them,” they said.

Secondly, they are obsessed with the idea that the GOP, Katherine Harris, SCOTUS etc. robbed them of the presidency in Florida. After all, liberals think they’re better than we conservatives; smarter, more sophisticated and so on, so how else to explain it?

Third, and this is closely related to #2, Democrats deem the reins of power to be rightfully and exclusively theirs, and President Bush et al are usurpers of the throne. Therefore there has to be some conspiratorial illegality that put them in office and keeps them there. According to the left-wing/Democrat/driveby media triumvirate, the Bush administration is invalid, illegal and unconstitutional, and every move it makes is sinister and evil.

Taken together, this elicits the massive malice we see from the left that overrides any sense of rationality, right and wrong and even decency. The hypocrisy and double standard are breathtaking. Look at the letters from all the good little Democrats on newspaper opinion pages. “Bush lied, the war is illegal!” They had no problem with the war in Bosnia and they were noticeably silent when a real liar was in the Oval Office. With Monica.

I think there is one more you could add to your list, Jack; the obsessive, overwhelming lust for power. They aren't interested in any shape or form in doing anything good for Americans, they can only think of destroying anything that gets in the way of power. The will lie, create falsehoods, use inuendo, use physical violence, threats, and anything else which will help them satiate the love of power. The problem is, like any addiction, you truely can never be satiated until you give up the addictions. Hey, that sounds a lot like how Whitaker Chambers described communists. A cooincidence? I don't think so. It also mirrors the state of mind of terrorists.

Absolutely right on all counts.

Given this outrageous behavior of the Left, it will be very interesting leading into the mid-terms and beyond...2008. Of course, the midterms are on the plate first, and I'm ready for some glum faces the 'morning after'. I sure hope the American people can see thru the rhetoric and keep us on the RIGHT path.

Oh, and isn't it amazing how the MSM and the left-wingers can be huffing and panting over a Bush gaffe (supposed) where he utters a very mild expletive on a open mike, but they didn't bat an eye over the Oval Office fiasco(s)?

Ugggh.

From what I understood, the President was talking about something that was taking place or
discussed.More than likely the word
he used fit the subject. There are not
many people who have not used the
term "Bull S***" at one time or another,or just plain "bull" or "B.S".
Myself,I think it just a "crock" what
the MSMS and Dems are putting out.
Innuendos are used a lot,eh?
