Clinton vows to block bill criminalizing illegal immigrants

Invoking Biblical themes, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton joined immigration advocates Wednesday to vow and block legislation seeking to criminalize undocumented immigrants.

Clinton, a potential 2008 presidential candidate and relative latecomer to the immigration debate, made her remarks as the Senate prepares to take up the matter next week.

It's easy for her to express sympathy when she doesn't have to deal with any of the problems of massive illegal immigration. It's just more posturing for her run at the presidency.

No doubt it will. The real question is why doesn't she remember that such antics didn't work for good ol John Kerry?
