Gonzales: Media Misleading on Spying
Newsmax
Attorney General Alberto Gonzales defended the Bush administration's domestic spying program Tuesday and suggested that some critics and news reports have misled Americans about the breadth of the National Security Agency's surveillance.
Gonzales said the warrantless surveillance is critical to prevent another terrorist attack within the United States and falls within President Bush's constitutional authority and the powers granted by Congress immediately following the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

AMAZING. Its ok for bill clinton to use domestic spying for personal and political reasons but George Bush uses it to protect us for the enemy that clinton helped instad of stopping and He is wrong. WAKE UP!! George you can spy on me I have nothing to hide. and we surely need you to protect us from those that are sworn to destroy us. THANK YOU

typical liberal spin from msm. I guess they don't want to have anything done to stop another attack so that they have more fuel against bush when it happens again.
hopefully if it does happen some of their people will get caught up in it and then they will scream even louder that something should have been done.
however being as stupid as they are they would never figure out that they would be most of the problem of things not being done or exposing what they shouldn't to keep everyone a bit safer.

'Attorney General Alberto Gonzales defended the Bush administration's domestic spying program Tuesday and suggested that some critics and news reports have misled Americans about the breadth of the National Security Agency's surveillance.'
I already knew this. Some of the news media are out and out downright twisters of the truth i.e. liars.

You are right on the money. Most media and those who are guest on news shows do mislead the public. Try reading letters to the editor sometimes and you will see that some are led like sheep.

The picture is stuck in my head of the Democrats in Washington caucusing behind closed doors and all breaking into simultaneous laughter http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif over lying and having their willing dupes believe and disseminate their lies. Then they get busy plotting their next gang lie.

It is indeed sad that the President gets attacked from within his own country while he's trying to protect its citizens from the enemy without. *I'm not sure who is worse!
I think I will start writing to my congressmen now to voice opposition to any impeachment proceedings which may be coming.
God Bless President Bush!
God Bless ALL of our WARRIORS!

http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif Evidently , the two holding the "sheet" about torturing the Constitution NEVER READ IT !! And this was at a "law" school ?? Too bad they aren't taught REAL CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, instead of some "left wing commie/liberalism ideology", which is the only reason anyone would "turn their back" on the speaker http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif "Don't bother me with facts !My beloved instructor says different !! " How sickening.... Americans need to take back control of our "leading universities" and start teaching "truth and morality" again, instead of socialist diatribe they are teaching...

http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/usflag22.gif The suggestion by liberal Democrats that President Bush should be impeached for authorizing the NSA to tap into phone conversations of Americans talking to members of the Al Quaida, or other Muslim terrorist organizations, is as far left as one can get! *Instead of impeaching the President, all the naysayers should be removed from office (aaah! impeached) and tried for treason against the USA since they have "gone out of their way" to support the enemies of this country. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/flagsalute.gif
