Concerning the situation of debate in the UN and around the world on Iraq, enough is enough. It's time to light this candle. President Bush should cut bait and begin initiating plans for the invasion of Iraq. No more debating in the political quagmire known as the UN. President Bush has proven beyond a doubt to both the naysayers here in the US and the world that he has exhausted all diplomatic means in the attempt to force Saddam to comply with the ceasefire ending the Gulf War and all 17 UN Resolutions.

I noticed on the news last night that Iraq is deploying Scud Missiles to it's west and issued a call for and training Arab suicide bombers to attack US troops. He's also rigged his oil wells with explosives to wage eco-terrorism. Last I had heard, he promised not to do this. Is it just me or do these items PROVE that Saddam has not disarmed and is a supporter of terrorism? I only pray that today's news concerning a possible extension of yet another deadline for Saddam is merely a ploy to distract him from the invasion that is beginning as we speak!

The US must strike fast and must strike hard. We must prove to the world that diplomacy has been exhausted and we are acting in our best interests. If they don't like it, they can just send back the aid money we provide them. Iran and N. Korea better shape up fast or they are next. The notion of a true union of the nations of the world to look out for humankind is noble, but at this point in human history, it's a pipedream. Nations look out for their own interests first. I'm tired of hearing the liberal left whining that the US is not the world's policeman. Wake up and smell the coffee. If it's not to be the US dictating the course that humanity takes, then which country would they prefer? Russia? France? Germany? With great power comes great responsibility, right? Too often we've seen what happens when we are not diligent. Starvation and civil war in Africa, genocide in Europe and Asia, how can Americans claim to be humanitarian and yet turn their back on the world? I'm not saying we do it alone and I'm not saying we foot the bill, but we can't allow the costs or world opinion hinder us in our duty. To protect America we must ensure the safety of the world. Look at where ignoring Iraq, N. Korea, and Iran has landed us. We still have to come in and clean the mess, just like parents in a house full of messy children. If we don't, no one else will, and we just can't allow that.

End the madness now President Bush! You've proven to us that you wanted a diplomatic solution. We know that's not possible in THIS situation. America is behind you, let's roll!
