Liberals shine in media

Mike Rosen
Rocky Mountain News

It's time for the 18th annual Media Research Center's awards for the most biased, manipulative or downright goofy quotes from liberals in the "mainstream" media. I'm honored to serve, once again, on MRC's distinguished panel of conservatively biased judges. Here are some of the highlights from among the winners and runners-up of Best Notable Quotables of 2005:

Quote of the Year

Reporter Brian Ross: "Mary Mapes was the woman behind the scenes, the producer who researched, wrote and put together Dan Rather's 60 Minutes report on President Bush's National Guard service, a report which Rather and CBS would later apologize for airing . . ."

Any organization that can make Bile and Madame look like compassionate, patriotic, honest, ethical Americans can make anyone shine and, to be honest about it, are very skilled at their lies. Of course it takes dishonest, unethical, lazy, uneducated, disinterested people to believe it. In other words, birds of a feather flock together.

Yes, and that ties in directly with the subject of the "unemployed or unemployable" thread.

If it were not for such people as described above, all the efforts of the leftwing media would be for naught.

Can you imagine listening to her do political ads on TV? Even those who agree with her wouldn't be able to stand that!
