What a difference a week makes. Short days ago, the liberal media were doing the Snoopy dance of joy in advance of what they were sure would be the beginning of the end of the dim-witted cowboy/scheming frat-boy that is George W. Bush.

They felt they were on the brink of weakening, if not toppling the Bush administration altogether. They began the week in anticipation of the imminent death of the 2,000th American soldier in Iraq, then segued into gloating over the Harriet Miers withdrawal and finally, to salivating over the results of the CIA leak investigation. The Washington Post summed up the glee nicely via a story (web site) on the Miers affair:

Once again, bad news for the left is good news for America. And, once again, Bush makes lemonade out of liberal sour grapes.[/QUOTE]

That sums it up rather nicely. I see no hope that the MSM will change their ways, but I do see hope in the fact that more and more peopple are catching on to the fact that "They Said" usualy means "It isn't so".

Even good 'ol "what, me opinionated?" Larry King, in his interview with John McCain last night, couldn't hide his extreme bias. He kept teying to inject the moonbat party line into the conversation, even interuppting callers trying to talk to McCain when the conversation wasn't going in his preferred direction. McCain, to his credit, handled it all very well. While leaving himself a little wiggle room, should he need it in the future, he basicly supported most administration actions and policies.
