FORT HOOD, TX. (GOPUSA News) -- President Bush addressed troops at Fort Hood on Friday, thanking them for their service to the United States and rallying them for a possible war against Iraq.

Bush spent much of his speech laying out the justification for a war. Covering his moral bases, he characterized the conflict as one between forces who value the lives of the innocent and those who do not, and the conflict itself as one "not to conquer anybody, but to liberate people."

"In America, we say everybody is precious, everybody counts," Bush said. "Everybody is equal in the eyes of the Almighty. That's not the way the enemy thinks. They don't value innocent life. They're nothing but a bunch of cold-blooded killers, and that's the way we're going to treat them."
