Hello to all. *This is my first time posting so, please excuse any mistake I may make until I get the hang of it; this isn't the typical, run of the mill site, afterall * *http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

My concern for the morale of our service personnel in Iraq is greater than ever after hearing on Fox News this morning that all the anti-war demonstrations are becoming extremely disheartening to many of our troops members *http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Does anyone have any idea on how to begin organizing a mass demonstration to counteract the damage these idiots are doing??? * * *http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

Welcome butynbranes2! *We're glad to have you here.

There are local rallies in most areas, I think.

But as it happens I just got this notice of a national one in my email.

<span style='color:crimson '><span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'>Please promote the nationwide &quot;SUPPORT OUR TROOPS&quot; rally. *Thank you!!</span></span>

AmericaStandUp.Com Launches Web Site and Announces Nationwide Rally April 26th

Washington State – The launch of a new web site was announced today to help those looking for ways to support American servicemen and women and their families. *In addition to providing information on topics such as adopting a unit, sending care packages and donating to military emergency relief funds, AmericaStandUp.com has teamed with Operation Support Our Troops to promote a national Support Our Troops day on Saturday, April 26, 2003.

Groups and individuals are encouraged to list their events on AmericaStandUp.com as a way to network both within and outside their communities. *Although the web site just launched on March 13th, inquiries from as far as Missouri, Maryland, Florida, New York, Arizona and California already have been received. *Over 4700 visitors have already visited the site. *“This project began as a way to Support our Troops and share the information between Washington Federation of Republican Women’s clubs,” said founder Caroline Tesch-Smith. *But, recent events and enthusiastic email conversations with individuals around the country prompted us to share this site with the general public. *AmericaStandUp.Com welcomes listings and comments from any individual wishing to Support Our Troops and our President.”

butynbranes2 WELCOME.

We organized a rally last week..about 400 people and there is another one this Saturday April 5th (see above post, if you live near Tampa Fl.) http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Try calling your local Red Cross, they have support groups for the families of soldiers. We have been active with our local support groups and are planning some cool and unique things to show support for our soldiers and their families.

Its great that you are trying to do something about it, we need more people like you. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
