Suggested questions for GOP survey

The National Republican Congressional Committee has mailed a survey to a selected list of grass-roots Republicans seeking opinions on "issues of greatest concern" so that the party can be strengthened "by getting more Americans involved."

Of course, it is really a fund-raiser (send your "most generous contribution"), but it is artfully designed to look like authentic market research using catchphrases such as "registered survey number," "classified document" and "data entry control number for office use only."

Whoever produced the survey must have the same worldview as Inside-the-Beltway policy wonks whose sensitivity to public opinion is bounded by the Washington Post in the morning and Dan Rather in the evening. They are clueless about what grass-roots Americans think.

Out of 54 detailed questions sorted into 13 different issues, there is only one about border security and immigration. That lone question appears at the bottom of the page titled Foreign Affairs. There is a section on homeland security, but it contains no mention of border security or immigration.

I'm going to help the Republican Congressional Committee by providing a list of 20 questions for which the answers would be helpful to party leaders.

My short comments: Her column is a must read for all concerned Conservative Republicans who is worried about the Republican's survival as a political party. Immigration has nothing to do with race, it's about our sovereignty, our culture, national security, environment and our borders!

I highly suggested sharing this information to your friends and the leaders of the Republican Party. Illegal Immigration has ruined Americans of all background and Legal Immigrants who strived to becoming Americans. Remember, no matter how bad or good our economy maybe, we have keep on fighting on this issue and fight to secure for future generations.

Thanks, "Tom Tancredo", for keeping the immigration issue alive on "The Forum". It seems like a lot of people are focused on the "war" with Iraq and have forgotten the invasion across our borders. In the next election, the Democrats and the Republicans will be tumbling over each other trying to curry favor with the immigrant - legal and illegal - communities. Those who want to see something done about the immigration mess are going to be hard-pressed to get their message out.

I'm very glad many people in this country are starting to wake up on this issue, regradless of where you may reside in America. I'm 19 years old and Immigration issue has been a fairly new issue to me as a matter of fact. I've been learning on this issue ever since the end of the 2000 election and I'm still learning on immigration ever since.

Immigration has affected on every main important issue we Americans can think of such as: *The economy, health care, education, the environment, affirmative action, gun rights, housing, congressional redistricting, cultural and even abortion. The same politician who is taking away our guns, support killing innocent babies, claiming that we have global warming, stopping any tax reform and putting God out of America are the same politicians here that wanted to end the existence of America by allowing massive waves of illegal immigration into our country.

It's good to see politicians like Tancredo, Hayworth from Arizona, Hoekstra, Ron Paul and others to try to put an end to this mess. Granted, it is true that to build a strong organized Immigration Reform movement, they must have money and resources to reach to over millions of frustrated Americans to know the problems caused by illegal immigration.
