Republican Senate Immigration Subcommittee Members Announced
Last week, we reported on the Democratic senators named to serve on the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration. We would like to update you now that the Republican members have been confirmed. Below is a complete list of the Senate Immigration Subcommittee.

House Homeland Security Committee Members Announced
The House Homeland Security Committee assignments have been announced. This Select Committee will oversee the organization of the new Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - the Department tasked with enforcing immigration law and providing immigrant services. While consideration of immigration legislation will remain with the committees of jurisdiction, this Select Committee will determine the structure and overall effectiveness of the immigration components housed within DHS.
Many members of the Committee are immigration reform supporters and some are members of the Immigration Reform Caucus. Unfortunately, there are also some Committee members that are supporters of mass immigration.
