Mexican Authorities Detain Iraqi Citizens at Border

TIJUANA, Mexico — Mexican authorities have detained six Iraqi citizens who they believe intended to cross into the United States from Tijuana.

The five men and one woman claimed to be German citizens when they arrived at the Tijuana airport Tuesday night on a flight from Mexico City.

Immigration authorities sent the Iraqis back to Mexico City for questioning.

Officials were trying to determine whether the Iraqis might be Chaldean Christians, a group which claims it faces persecution in Iraq.

Or maybe they were terrorists. Anyone who thinks the open southern border isn't a threat must be blind. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/fire.gif

I really love it when the immigration advocates say the border crossers are only poor, hard working Mexicans who want to better themselves. *I think Geraldo already proved that. *These may be persecuted individuals that mean us no harm, but what has that got to do with the holes in the border. *Some one has simply got to wake up.

So the Mexicans can spot a few Iraqis and send them home but they miss the thousands of Mexicans who care no more for the welfare of America than Saddam does?

As we speak there is a growing effort to take back the whole South West. California and it’s leaders from Hollywood might go along but they have had a experience with Texas that they don’t want to taste again.

I’m surprised that the Foxx government went to the trouble to send these poor Christians back to Iraq so that Saddam can feed them to his lions.

Had they really thought that these people were dangerous terrorists you can bet that they wouldn’t have noticed their turbans.
