Corrections on New Senate Judiciary Committee Appointments
FAIR mistakenly reported earlier this week that Senator Bob Graham (D-FL), who has a less than favorable immigration record, had joined the Senate Judiciary Committee. Instead, freshman Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has been added. This is encouraging news as Senator Lindsey Graham was a member of the House Immigration Reform Caucus last year and has a highly favorable immigration record. Additionally, Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA), another former House member with a favorable record on immigration, has joined the Committee. We regret the error, but are please to report the addition of pro-immigration reform Senators to the Judiciary Committee

The closing of the boarders issues gets more support. If the issue were to need to win public support on a nation wide basis A second terror (god Forbid needs to happen) and the cause being a break down of INS. Or the better solution a terror attack is stoped at the last moment.
