Nearly 140 new federal agents will be assigned to the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona this year to protect against terrorists, a rising flood of illegal immigrants, and drug and alien smugglers, said border czar Asa Hutchinson. -- "We are taking on the protection of our borders with a new agency at a time of a real national threat to our country, but we are up to the task," said Mr. Hutchinson, undersecretary for border and transportation security at the Department of Homeland Security.

If he would also add 140 for Texas, 140 for NM and 140 for California it might help - otherwise they will forget AZ and move elsewhere. He must have gotten more heat from AZ and the vigilante groups to force him to put the additional agents there.
You're absolutely correct, "Der Alte". Arizona is being flooded with aliens because the border in El Paso, TX, and San Diego, CA, had been fairly well controlled. To actually control the borders would require many times the present number of "working" Border Patrol Agents. To me, "working" BP Agents are those who are actually apprehending illegal aliens.
