Gere Shocks Fellow Libs With Jab at Hillary

An assemblage of Hollywood liberals and Democrat big wigs were horrified when Richard Gere committed the sacrilege of telling Sen. Hillary Clinton her husband had failed to enlist in the fight against AIDS.

According to the Washington Post’s Lloyd Grove, New York Magazine's upcoming Intelligencer column reports that Hillary had already left Cipriani , a 42nd Street restaurant when Gere proclaimed at the American Foundation for AIDS Research event: "Senator Clinton, I'm sorry, your husband did nothing for AIDS for eight years."

I would dearly love to see these two go to each other's throats http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laff.gif

I just loved Richard Gere years ago. For awhile we were going to all his movies.

And then, I found out about some of his political activities and haven't seen one since. He just didn't look as good once I knew about him.

He did slam Clinton but he also slammed Bush, and much harder, a day or so later. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/barf.gif

I agree with Laurie. Nothing soothes the soul quite so much as liberals going at each other. It is why I also agree with Terri, that I could save a lot of money going to the movies (as if I had the time anyway) and supporting liberal Hollyweird types, by simply watching the Dem presidential primaries kick off. Now that's entertainment. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Yesterday I heard Bill Bennett say to Sean on his radio program that someone asked Brad Pitt what he thought about the war with Iraq. *He said I don't know, I'm an actor for heaven's sake, not anyone who has insight on foreign issues. (paraphrased in my own words) http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/yelclap.gif to BP for being honest. *Now, if we could just get the rest of them to think the same way! <is that a non-confrontational enough question?> * http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrinangelA.gif
