Election 2004 is over. But the fallout is not.
NewsMax has sorted through the spin to figure out who are the biggest winners and losers.

Of course, the big winners of the election are President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

And the big losers are Sens. John Kerry and John Edwards.

Now it’s time to look at the rest of the dazzlers and duds:

The Other Big Losers

1. Terry McAuliffe – Most of the pundits and nattering nabobs have been bizarrely leery of discussing the biggest loser of the 2004 election, but the Clintonista chairman of the Democratic National Committee “earns” this booby prize for having presided over a string of elections that have destroyed his party.

2. Dan Rather – The CBS anchorman's multiple blatant attempts to damage President Bush with outrageously biased propaganda and faked “documents” is one of the most shameful things that took place in 2004.

3. George Soros – All the king’s billions and all the king’s goons couldn’t make the American people accept John Kerry.

Maybe, he will win an oscar for the best fiction picture of the year.

Oh, by the way Michael, if you are reading this:

Thanks for helping President Bush win re-election by your childish and immature documentary!

I wonder if this sours his chances for an oscar for best "documentary?"

Oh - wait - it's Hollywood - so I guess not.

Terry McAuliffe and Ed Gillespie -- a study of polar opposites. One a wild-eyed black helicopter bomb thrower, the other a regular joe. I heard terrance is going to be fired. What a surprise.

May I add Peter Lewis to the list?
He gave nearly as much money as Soros did.
It seems to me that he should become a bigger loser, if people would cancel their Progressive Insurance policies.

The Commodore & his Lady unto the Forum: greetings.

In the tradition of Reflections on the Revolution in France, the Commodore adds additional winners and losers as a result of the 2004 Elections, viz.:

Loser #5: Old Europe, especially France, Germany, and other European powers which refused to send troops to the assistance of the USA & UK, or pulled their troops out in the aftermath of domestic terror such as His Most Catholic Majesty's Government in Spain. El Cid is grieving in his current level in Purgatory, as the Romans teach.

Loser #6: The United Nations. UN, most notably the Office of the Secretary-General, lost all credibility as a result of the Iraqi Expeditionary Forces uncovering verifiable records of Insane Hussein's abuses of the Oil for Food program. The French, especially, are in GW Bush's doghouse. Well did Jacob curse Reuben, calling him and his descendants "unstable as water"!

Loser #7: News Media. We now see the video equivalent of the old Democrat paper and the Republican paper. Fox has gained credibility, at the expense of what has been deemed "the alphabet soup" networks.

Winners (other than GW Bush & Dick Cheney):

Winner #1: GOP. With four additional Senators, the Party can do more to end the Democrat filibusters when Bush sends up Judges (either on the Appellate or Supreme Court).

Winner #2: The Internet. Bypassing the traditional filter of the New York-LA Axis, George Bush could, and did, emulate Ronald Reagan and go directly to the American People through the Internet (case in point: GOPUSA Forum).

Winner #3: Talk Radio. Closely related to the Internet, the Talk Radio programs such as Limbaugh, Liddy, Hannity have shown the American people that there is a viable alternative to traditional media.
