A Support the President and the Troops Rally is being held March 15 and each following Saturday thereafter at noon in Weeki Wachee, Florida on highways 50 and 19. This rally is being sponsored by the Hernando County Young Republicans, the Hernando County Republicans Executive Committee, the POW/MIA Committee, The VFW Post 10209, and The Hernando 10-13 Club. We welcome ALL who support the President and the troops to bring a sign and/or an American Flag to join us.
There has been anti-war/troops protestors in this county for 6 weeks now (led by former congressional candidate Brian Moore-District 5-Florida) and this has led recently to a demonstrator waving an Iraqi flag at the retired NYPD troops supporters.
