The Sarasota Young Republicans invite you, your family, and friends to join them in a rally to &quot;SUPPORT OUR TROOPS.&quot; The rally will take place on this Saturday, March 22 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm at City Island Park (by Marina Jack's). Please show your patriotism by bringing signs with a personal message of support for President Bush, Our Troops, and the United States. County Commissioner Paul Mercier, Mayor Carolyn Mason, Senator Mike Bennett, and Republican Chairman Tramm Hudson will speak.

Sarasota and the surrounding areas are home to many brave men and women in the armed services. Help us make this an outstanding turnout and expression of support for them and their families during this difficult time for our country.

Now, Floridaguy, You did mean the great Banana Republic of Dade county didn't ya?
I live very close to UM.
UM. is they reason I came to Miami 30 some years ago. Been trying to escape for years, my theory is that the outskirts of that darn Bermuda triangle has some of us sucked in thus preventing our leaving.
Husband is UM grad and HUGE Canes fan, often call him Ibis.

I also am a proud alum, graduating twice from there in the 80s. I host a Miami alumni &amp; friends http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/football.gif game watch club in Sarasota/Bradenton, with usually around 80 people showing up for the games. I even have the school sending me merchandise to raffle off during the games. If you guys ever make it to the conservative coast of Florida, do tell.
