Quote[/b] ]March was a GREAT month for conservative activism -- one of our best ever
-- thanks to you and the other members of the ConservativeAlerts.c om team!
In all, our activists sent 200,541 e-mails, 64,880 faxes and 38,855
petition signatures to Congress, the President, the Media, and other
leaders. Here are some of the highlights of this past month's activities:

** First, great news on the results of our rather ambitious project to
purchase a nationwide FULL-PAGE ad in USA Today, in support of President
Bush and our troops: You did it! 2,053 of our activists donated towards
this project, and last Friday, the ad came out on page 9E across the
country. (If you haven't seen the ad, you can download it at
http://www.conservativealer ts.com/usatodayad.pdf -- Adobe Acrobat program
is required.)

Unfortunately, we learned that there are a few metro areas where the ad
did NOT run yet, due to some glitches with getting artwork to their
printing locations. We understand that the ad DID run in every city in
every state, except for papers originating out of Chicago, Detroit,
Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and New York. In those areas, we've been told that
the ad will come out sometime this week, but they haven't given us a
specific day yet (latest word is that we will be running on Thursday in
New York, Pittsburgh and Cleveland, but that is not confirmed yet). The ad
WILL run. If it were to NOT run, we would give you phone numbers to start
calling there... and then, it would DEFINITELY run! :-)

This was a GREAT project, and now thousands of you are clipping the ad and
sending copies of it, along with International Phone Cards, to friends and
relatives that are serving in the military fighting overseas. What a
"morale package" they're receiving -- and they deserve it!

** An outgrowth of this ad campaign was the "seed" of a brand new website,
with a lot of future potential for the conservative movement:
RightMarch.com. At RightMarch.com, folks can sign our online petition in
support of the President and the troops, as we conduct our own "Virtual
March from the Right" against the Socialist-led "peace" protestors and the
vanguard of left-wing Hollywood types. Once they sign, they can also take
part in other related activism through ConservativeAlerts.c om, as well as
take a look at where the closest "Rally for America" is that they can
attend. As of today, 36,801 people have signed the petition!

** Some Action Items we sent you related to RightMarch.com included
sending messages to the leaders of the Screen Actors' Guild, the one
organization that represents all of those left-wing loons, demanding that
they put a leash on the people they are putting on our television sets and
movie screens: 12,612 friendly little messages were dropped on Hollywood!
(If you haven't sent your message yet, you can do so at
http://www.conservativealer ts.com/031903.htm)

Another item supported H.R. 1146, The American Sovereignty Restoration
Act, which would finally get us OUT of that U.S.-taxpayer-supported
bastion of socialistic, one-world government, the United Nations. 9,864 of
you sent messages to your Representatives requesting their support, and
40,500 faxes were sent to the members of the House Committee on
International Relations, which has this bill bottled up, demanding that
they pass it to the full House of Representatives for a floor vote. We'll
keep tracking that one! (If you haven't sent your message yet, you can do
so at http://www.conservativealer ts.com/032103.htm)

The other item in our Virtual March from the Right was to enable our
activists to BOMBARD the liberal media with our messages demanding they
cover the ongoing wave of "Rallies For America." And when we say BOMBARD,
we mean it: 75,244 messages were sent to our members' local media outlets,
demanding that they fulfill their journalistic obligations by actually
covering these rallies. If you saw ANY coverage of these rallies, pat
yourself on the back -- because it's doubtful there would have been
anything about it in the press without you! (If you haven't sent your
message yet, you can do so at
http://www.conservativealer ts.com/031703.htm)

** At the beginning of March, we told you how a gung-ho anti-gun district
attorney in Brooklyn is prosecuting Ronald Dixon for using an "illegal
firearm" to shoot an intruder in his home, when the gun he had purchased
legally in Florida simply had not run all the way through New York's
cumbersome registration process. Mr. Dixon is facing up to a year on
RIKERS ISLAND if he doesn't accept the "plea bargain" from District
Attorney Hynes and plead GUILTY on a gun possession charge. We set up a
webpage where you could let the DA, Charles J. Hynes, know what you think
of prosecuting upstanding law-abiding citizens who try to protect their
families -- and 17,068 of you sent him a message demanding that he NOT
prosecute Mr. Dixon! We're still tracking this story (you know how quickly
the wheels of "justice" turn), but we won't let it die! (If you haven't
sent your message yet, you can do so at
http://www.conservativealer ts.com/030103.htm)

** Not long after that Alert was sent out, we let you know about a new
bill being introduced in Congress, the "Citizens' Self-Defense Act of
2003", to counter these mis-directed prosecutions and blatant violations
of American citizens' Second Amendment rights. We asked you to contact
your Congressmen and tell them to support this bill... and to date, 35,102
messages have been sent to your Senators and Representatives doing just
that, which should move that bill quickly! GREAT JOB! (If you haven't sent
your message yet, you can do so at
http://www.conservativealer ts.com/031103.htm)

** One of the ongoing items this month was taking action on the continuing
filibuster that obstructionist Democrats have inflicted on President
Bush's conservative nominee Miguel Estrada to the U.S. Appeals Court for
the District of Columbia Circuit. 15,051 e-mails and 24,380 faxes have
been sent to the Senate this month demanding that the filibuster be ended
and Senators be allowed an up-or-down vote... but the Democrats are still
at it, and the filibuster is still on. Keep an eye for an Action Item this
month on an idea we have that can finally BREAK that obstruction! (If you
haven't sent your message yet, you can do so at
http://www.conservativealer ts.com/030603.htm)

** Just this week, we told you how one major company, Sears, is supporting
our troops by making up the difference between reservists' pay and their
regular salary at Sears for up to two years, and we asked you to go to
their website at http://www.sears.com/ to drop them a note of thanks.
Well, we've heard from dozens of our members -- and Sears isn't the ONLY
company that's stepping up to the plate for our guys and gals overseas! To
see a list of some of the companies who are going beyond their legal
responsibilities in this area, go to
http://www.coldfury.com/HF/index.html#anchor -- and if your company isn't
included, be sure to drop these folks a line to let them know about it!
(There are some companies that are doing the wrong thing -- including
firing reservists -- and we'll be letting you know about THEM soon, too!)

One last reminder: Sometimes we still get e-mail from members who tell us
that when they go to our site to take action on an item, the page either
doesn't come up, or it's very slow, or it never completely sends their
message. The problem there is that there are now SO MANY of us ready and
willing to take action that our servers can sometimes get a little
overloaded -- so it's a GOOD problem, but one we're constantly trying to
avoid. In the meantime, if this happens to you, just wait an hour or two,
then try again -- you'll almost always be able to get in then.

Also, if you ever get an e-mail back from your Congressman or Senators
saying they've changed their e-mail address, please forward that to us, so
we can re-program that legislator's contact form.

We've got a LOT more coming in a very short time, including lots more
Congressional votes, items on the ongoing "Virtual March from the Right,"
letters to the media, more Senate fights on President Bush's judicial
nominees, First and Second Amendment support items, tax cut -- and tax
elimination -- items, and much much more -- including more bold activities
like the USA Today ad! If YOU have an Action Item you'd like to see us do,
email us at alerts@conservativea lerts.com with all the details (including
relevant website addresses and/or Congressional Bill numbers) and we'll
see what we can do!

THANK YOU for your participation! We are so appreciative of each and every
one of our members. We read ALL of your notes & suggestions, even if we
don't have the time to answer them all personally. This is the most active
group of conservatives on the Internet today -- and as you can see, we're
making an impact!

Please do us a favor, and try to convince as many of your fellow
conservatives online as possible to join the ConservativeAlerts.c om email
list, by going to http://www.conservativealer ts.com/ and signing up for
FREE. We have almost 80,000 members now -- just imagine the feeling we
could get when we roll over the liberals with 100,000 or 250,000 members
or more! PLEASE, get your friends to join today! No, every member won't
always agree with every single Action Item we send out every week... but
that's the beauty of being a conservative: we're not mindless drones, like
the liberals are! :-)

Along those lines, we want to emphasize this

Sorry about the last line - it wasn't supposed to be included. For all of you that want to get involved, here is a long list of items with links - go get em.
