After obstructing the confirmation of qualified judicial nominees for nearly two years, Senate Democrats are not finished with their campaign to perpetuate the judicial crisis. They have threatened to filibuster the nomination of Miguel Estrada the first Hispanic to possibly sit on
the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
It is an irresponsible outrage for Senate Democrats to threaten a filibuster of a man of distinction who has been unanimously rated "Well Qualified" by the American Bar Association, and endorsed by sixteen Latino groups, including the League of United Latin American Citizens, our nation's oldest and largest Hispanic civil rights organization.
Take action now! We urgently need you to contact your Senators and ask them to vote for Miguel Estrada and oppose any attempt to filibuster his nomination to the bench! Get your Senators contact information now.

Experienced: Estrada has extensive legal experience and has argued 15 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Qualified: Unanimously voted "Well Qualified" by the American Bar Association.
Bipartisan Support: Sixteen Latino organizations and numerous officials from the Clinton Justice Department have endorsed Estrada for the bench.
