Dear ABC,

I was just informed that ABC is in talks with Janeanne Garafalo concerning a new sitcom. I hope you are prepared for a major negative campaign to be started ASAP. We will write your sponsors and boycott their products. We will obviously not tune in to ABC. We will continue to be vigilant, we won't forget Ms. Garafolo's active opposition to the War with Iraq.

Janeanne Garofalo is free to protest just as the American public is free to choose where we spend our money. We do not wish to see the faces of liberal Hollywood, particularly those that provided aid and comfort to Saddam Hussein. We will stand up and fight for our right to request their exclusion from shows and sponsors that seek our attention.

(I am forwarding this note to other like-minded Americans so they are aware of ABC's actions)

Looks like I made the news, thanks to everyone who wrote to ABC! The silent majority will be silent no more! Those that trashed our country while we were looking into the face of danger will not be forgotten. Thanks to Scoop at MSNBC, they did a good job reporting this!

Protesters attack Garofalo show

April 9 — Will another anti-war celeb take a career hit? Bush supporters have been deluging ABC with calls and e-mails, complaining about a sitcom the network has in development starring outspoken war protester Janeane Garofalo.

ABC HAS reportedly been working on the comedy, in which Garofalo plays a producer at a TV newsmagazine. The pro-war protesters are threatening to organize a major campaign against ABC, including a boycott of advertisers, if the network airs the show.

“We do not wish to see the faces of liberal Hollywood, particularly those that provided aid and comfort to Saddam Hussein,” protester Jon Alvarez e-mailed ABC.
“We will stand up and fight for our right to request their exclusion from shows and sponsors that seek our attention.”

Spokesmen for ABC and Garofalo had no comment.

Jon, excellent job! I have just shot off an email as well and have posted the story on at least a dozen Conservative forums so far.
Let's hope to send the Leftists on the Left Coast a clear message.

Nice work on making the air.
However,... wrong target.
The 50,000 or so liberals watching MSNBC either won't care or will watch it out of spite.

Tomorrow the story will be forgotton.

What you have to do is contact the sponsors of the show ..
and tell them you'll boycott their products.

When you hittem in the purse, you get results.
Go after the money men. The net itself is just a medium.
It'll be interesting to see who the sponsors are.

Re: Gawdawfulho..err.. garafolo -- see the liddle pink peace sign pin she's wearing? It's a lesbian peace group icon.

Mebbe her show could be replaced with another unfunny twisted sister... reruns of <gasp> Ellen?
