Hi everyone, im relatively new on this board, but it is good to see a conservative forum up. Anyways to my question, I live in the Phoenix area, and while there are not many hardcore liberal anti-war fanatics out here, there are enough college kids who protest the war out of it being "cool" But i am having trouble finding local rally's to support our troops out in the gulf. Does anyone know of a link to show rally's that are happening in my area......thanks, Mike.

Welcome Model1911! We're glad you've joined. I did hear about a support rally earlier in the month. We try to post them in our Support America thread in the Activism section of the forum when we hear about them.

Come back and post with us often. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Heya Mike... err Model.

I'm in the Phoenix area too - the only rallies I've heard were mostly in Tuscon - but if you hear one, let us know - I'd LOVE to support our troops and be counted.

Mike – Welcome the board! *I’m quite new myself, but hopefully you’ll enjoy it as much as I have!

Free Republic (http://www.freerepublic.com )has pro-war & support our troops rally information links on their main page, that’s how I initially found the “Rally for America” event in Cleveland a few weeks ago.. *which leads me to the next-- Glen Beck’s site (http://www.glennbeck.com) , whom organizes the “Rally for America” events, there might be one in your area.. *There is also “Rally for America” information here (http://home.earthlink.net/~mede3101/) as well..

Take care- *http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/flagsalute.gif

Hi, Model1911 - I guess I'm pretty lucky to live in the Seattle area. In an are that is mostly liberal, we have had some incredible support the troops rally's and that is thanks in large part to a local conservative talk radio station. They have played a huge part in getting people pumped up and getting their voices heard. And since we have had so many troops deployed from this state, it is an encouragement to the families here to see so much support. Good luck on your rally search. *http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/star2.gif *http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/flag17.gif

Well, this is a new one for me.

Does anyone see the previous post without hilighting it?

Check for your text color being set to white in your control panel.

I've put in black codes for now so that it can be read.

I found this calendar that has been set up for advertising rallies. There isn't much there yet but we'll do our little part to advertise it.
