I hope I'm wrongoh on this, but I don't think it will ever be overturned. *I think too many people are too comfortable with it. *When my sister had surgery just recently she had a choice between two hospitals and she chose a hospital that did not do abortions. *I guess hospitals do them too. *

Unfortunately like many other facets of our every day lives, this has become trivialized and the masses desensitized to the horrible atrocity they are commiting.

IMO, R. V W. will not be overturned. However, I hope and pray that PBA will be banned and that people will one day realize that killing a fetus is killing a baby ~ not just a blob of parasitic tissue as they would like you to believe. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tqrolleyes.gif

I think you are both wrong and that we will finally overturn Roe v. Wade. * Why? *It was based on a lie and we know that if allowed to revisit it based on those lies that it would have to be overturned.

Unfortunately this will put it back into the state arenas... and does your state have the laws in place to keep RvWade going or is abortion still against the law.

We will never return to the pre-1973 years when abortion was secretive and not even considered by most. * However, as President Bush says, we will end abortion when we change the hearts of the people. * Keep working to inform people, to stand for the cause and to bring out the truth about killing our children. * Our nation cannot continue down this road of death and destruction and expect to ever begin to overcome our culture of death.

Hi cherylgop http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wavey.gif Welcome to http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/gopusa.gif

I hope and pray that you are right. There has to be a way to protect the innocent and take into consideration the life of the mother. And with the tremendous strides we have made medically in the last 30 or 40 years, it isn't very often that the life of the mother is in question.

People People People!

First off, this whole debate is one big political ploy. It's another emtional issue used to lure votes. Nothing else.

Roe V Wade will NOT be overturned.

First off... It's a SUPREME COURT Decision. It's LEGAL to get an abortion right now.

That in mind, the only way for the SUPREME COURT to hear the case again for be for someone to get an abortion, get arrested for it, get convicted of it, appeal it, have the case agreed to be heard by the State Court, have the conviction overturned, appeal it by prosectution, have the Circuit Court agree to hear the case, have the conviction reinstated, appeal it again, have the Supreme Court agree to hear the case, and then have the Supreme Court review the issue from the statute and overturn Roe V Wade.

NOT GONNA HAPPEN

First off, no one's going to be arrested and convicted if it's LEGAL.

Second, the publicity would Rise and RISE and RISE as that moved through the courts. You think that wouldn't weigh in on the appeals process?

Thirdly, that process, in today's courts, would take YEARS!!!

It's a NON issue. But as soon as people realize its a NON issue, then they have to actualy cast a vote based on other issues.... which does not bode well for the Dems.

Think about it.
