<span style='color:navy'>Good Morning! I can't believe that it's Friday already. This week has just flown by. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
The vice president is under fire for using a socially unacceptable 4 letter word to Senator Leahy yesterday. The Washington Post is under milder fire for printing all four letters of Cheney's chosen word. Apparently the Post chose not to print all 4 letters of the word when Kerry used it in an interview with Rolling Stone earlier in the year. Of course, we all know it's a much worse word if uttered by a Republican. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tqrolleyes.gif
Seriously, are you upset by Cheney uttering such a word to Leahy? What do you think the fallout will be? http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif
Polls don't count now but the latest Fox News poll showed a 5 point increase for the president. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

They'll make the most of it, but Vice President Cheney won't be one bit phased, we all slip the lip sometimes, but at least with good reason! John Kerry say's the 4-letter word for the fun of it, but he is French! http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif So maybe it's okay if Kerry says French words, cause he's French *kind of like certain races are only allowed to use certain words.....you get the idea!!!!! Good morning!
I am technically on overload. Clinton all week..and now the fool of tennessee...the undistinguished Al Gore. Who in their right mind would pay attention to this fool's ramblings? He has totally contradicted himself...since he was running for VP. It is strange how slick mouthed politicians do that...spinning to suite the time or their purposes. Sounds like old lurch doesnt it?
Good for Dick Cheney!!! Yep that guy has a set...yessir..a big set....You go Mr VP!!! Its time to throw some of this crap back at those dims...that seem intent on destorying this country. The dim harpies...harping and whining..and never shutting up!
Hope things go better in iraq today...its time to start destorying the terrorists. After wed...it will the job for the iraqies.

I somewhat upset that Vice President Cheney spoke such a word to Leahy without the appropriate backhand across his face. But Mr. Cheney is more restrained that I would be.
Quote[/b] ]A Gore quote appearing on Aljazeera
More proof that the Arab terrorists have more use for Gore than the American people do.
Yes Dave, Tennessee should be remembered in history as the state that saved the world from terrorism.
President Bush should run a campaign ad spelling out his reasons for going after Ira in the words of Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Tom D******* and others on the left who were so ready to go after Saddam before 9/11. Showing Al Gore and others preaching for more action against Saddam to rid the world of his WMDs would show that there was a threat, the dems knew that there was a threat, they did nothing and they are lying for political gain now.

Howdy from Oklahoma and a rain-free (so far) mid-80's, balmy kind of day. And it's Friday! Weekend time. Lawns to mow, stuff to tinker with, words to write, and a wedding to attend. Should be a good one.

Good Morning All: Glad to see the Precinct in such fine form yesterday. Thought I had read everything when the thunderbumpers shut me down last night and then found out that there were 4 more pages this morning. By the time I finished reading all the great comments and heights, or lack of height, today was already on page 2. Seems as if lately, I have been running slightly behind.
Cheney's remark to Leahy is very timely - now the liberals, who use the word on a regular basis, can complain about the VPs language and leave Rumsfeld alone. There is always a silver cloud on the horizon. GR, I'm with you and think the backhand would have been most appropriate.
Flower, thanks to you and your fellow Vols.
We are to be warm and sunny for most of the day, but we can also expect thunderstorms later in the day. My tasks for the day will be to check the air pressure in the vehicle tires and go out to our favorite fish house for lunch. Have a great day and I'll see you later.

By the time the West Coast wakes up the precinct is two pages long.....
Ok - I have a question: why is my bottled apple juice that I buy in a major supermarket from China? Don't we have American apples any more? Are they all used up in apple pie? I want to drink American apples.
Berkeley legalizing prostitution? But, wait, Berkeley has prostituted education for decades - so what's new?
Al Gore spoke? That's your definition of speaking? T'aint mine. I'd rather listen to a tree any day.
I really think that the Marines should have been allowed to go into Fallujah several weeks ago when this trouble started and do what the Marines do so well - clean out the insects in the nest. That was a political decision not to go, and I don't think it was the right one. Now it's too late with the handover coming so soon.
Diary for the day: Library morning, hot turkey sandwiches for supper. Morning walk, afternoon barre and center. Read my great new book, pat the cat. Isn't retirement tough?
I also need to restrain the morning glory which is taking over the pyracanthus. As for the honey suckle - it needs trimming very badly, but I am not sure how to do that. Treat it like a trailing geranium - with caution rather than a sledge hammer?
Well, all systems seem "go" this morning, so I am going....but....I will be back.....if the Good Lord agrees.
I think we should remember to pray for the people of Iraq - so many of them are dying so needlessly. They are in need not only of our help, money - but also our prayers.

I, too, am concerned about the president's safety. Turkey just doesn't seem to be a good idea just about now. But, then he can't stay holed up either.
Usually he stays in the embassy doesn't he?
We'll just have to pray about it.

I think clinton's *whole book tour and any press coverage should be classified as one big democratic fund-raiser subject to campaign finance laws.
from Clinton summer (http://www.gopusa.com/cgi-bin/ib3/ikonboard.pl?act=ST&f=23&t=12470)
Quote[/b] (jonessa2 @ June 16, 2004 -- 3:46 pm)]Quote[/b] ]And Clinton's book tour, make no mistake about it, is being planned with the thoroughness of a modern presidential campaign.
There is no mistaking the strategy behind bil's 'book tour.' *Sort of reminds me of the "electric Kool-aid acid test" bus tour of ken kesey. This man has 'no shame to his game.' *What is problematic is that the dems had to resort to using bil as their poster boy for the dem party because the alleged candidate is such a darn turn-off. * Alleged-I said-because just as wesley was thrown into the race in the middle, who knows what'll turn up in august. *I will not believe just who the dem team is going to be until I have to go to the polls. *And then, the dems are only going to holler' 'hanging chad' again.
Quote[/b] ]Kirkpatrick writes of how Clinton's "team has taken advantage of the demand for access to Clinton to reach an extraordinary series of deals filling the airwaves with Clinton and his voice during the week of publication."
And I feel that the http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/jacka.gif party should be charged air time for all this. *It is promoting the party, not just bil, in an election cycle. *That is the diference the timing of this publicity campaign to coincide with kerry's. *Makes you think that there are bigger things out there than kerry. *Why would someone like bil be on a booktour during the critical months leading to an election, unless it is to promote something clintonesque. *To give people false hope, the hope of the resurrection of 'bil.' *Did any of you take a good look at bil lately? *His hair has gotten pretty thin. *His face is still rose-flushed. *He is starting to look his age. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/str.gif *AND he will be carting this entourage of secret service men all across the country at tax-payer expense. *I know that he has a detail with him in New York, but bil doesn't just plan on a vacation. *He has to plan a sweep of the US stopping in numerous cities and states. *And Lord knows just how many of those will be in tandem with his wife.
Does bil even know how pitiful he is looking.
He just can't let go of public attention and fawning.
It is tough when you have been in office as long as he has, and tough especially when you have stretched the bounds of office by feeling like you are God. *Like you are untouchable by human constraints. *To just fall to earth and have to become a regular Joe-schmoe. *My advice. *WORK. *Find a cause, like Carter's habit for humanity. Hi everyone. I haven't posted in awhile because we've been busy but I have lurked as much as I could. Since my last post we've built stores in Myrtle Beach, Richmond, D C and now we're in Minot, ND. I even finished a store myself. The super on a store in Atlanta quit because he said the store couldn't possible be built in the time allowed by the schedule. There was noone to send down there so they sent me. I finished drywall, painted, installed the floor, base, coordinated with all subs and inspectors. Not only did the store turnover on time but it looked pretty darn good too. (woo-hoo go me!!)
Well I better get back to it.
God bless you all.

I vote for Nancy's titles for Mr. Zipper's Billogy. *Those are right on the money, lady!!
The Hub and I moved half of the flowers, stones and junk from the front of one half of the house, pulled what weeds and grass we had called for encroachment, leveled and laid weed stop down and covered it with mutilated cedar bark. *Put rocks and planters back and moved those penalized to the compost pile.
I wish V.P. Cheney had brought one right up from the floor and knocked *Leahy down a flight of stairs. *Of course then, Dick would probably have had a heart attack and then where would we be? *Had I been there I could have done it for him. *Then I'd be in jail, but that's all right. *I've never been in jail before. *Of course, my family might have been rather surprised, but they'd understand that it was all in a good cause.
Jonessa, we have about 32 different *types of boutique gases in this state (required by the EPA) which means the refineries are shutting down to change over *several times a year. *And don't forget the ever-loving ever-present taxes. * Illinois makes up for gas taxes by their toll roads.
Holy moley! *I remember when http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/frog.gif used to look like a real person. *And, he wasn't bad looking. *I always thought Bobby Kennedy was the best looking out of the whole bunch of them. *Jack's eyes were too close together.
I'd like to think the people surrounding the prez would be a little brighter than to give the name of the hotel where he's staying in Turkey. *I'm surprised they even gave out the country.
I still think the only reason they get so angry with him when he does something like flying out to the aircraft carrier or showing up in Iraq is because they wanted to truly believe in Peter Jennings statement that insinuated the president was less than heroic on 9/11. *That's why Mickeymouse Moore leaned so heavily on the 11 minutes after the president was told about the WTC attack. *There's no such thing as a measured response, only an emotional one. *
To them, he should jumped up, torn off his suit, exposing his superman spandex underneath (and scaring the kindergartners half to death) *leaped through the ceiling (thereby sending bricks tumbling down on the teacher's head) and flown to New York in time to see the WTC tumble to the ground and the smoke arising from the Pentagon. *At this point the only thing to do would have been to fly to the White House, swoop Laura up and fly off into the sunset. *And this is why the left is so full of the Hollyweirders. *They live in a false world and, in their heart of hearts, they think the above scenario is a real possibility for a real West Wing president.
Time to go wash off the bugs, dirt and mutilated cedar bark. *We're going out for fish tonight so I wish to attack mine in a state of cleanliness (don't think they'd even let me in in my present state).

Why not just "allies" without the adjective. Whatever happend to unbiased news or is it that we just didn't know it was biased years ago??

Good Afternoon All: Don't believe in bumper stickers - to much trouble to remove after the election. I do however, have a Bush - Cheney 2004 sticker inside the rear window, flanked by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars decals. This area is full of veterans and my layout attracks more of them - so far they are 99% behind the B/C ticket.
Looks as if the daily thunderbumpers are on their way - gotta unplug to protect my little Dell. Have a great one.

I sure hope Al Gore keeps making a fool of himself and the Democratic party.

Hi everybody. *Well, I finally made it. *I had to change ISP's this morning. *What an ordeal.
Anyway Terri, you can do whatever way you want on the book titles. *A poll works for me.
I saw Albore's speech (finally) - Can you believe he accuses Dubya of "artiface" - and this coming from an "oriface." * I do believe the man is mentally ill. *I think him losing in 2000 has completely UNHINGED him.
I'm listening to Ollie North right now, filling in for Tony Snow (on the radio) and they are having quite a discussion on Iraq and the liberal press.
Thanks AGW - but it wasn't all that hard to gather all of the info. *Too bad there weren't more entries. *We could have had some real fun with this subject. *Maybe Terri will want to extend it so everyone can put on their satirical caps. *
Willie Wonderful really looks rough, doesn't he? *But, I'm ONE of the possibly few women who never found him attractive anyway. *He looks too much like a younger W.C. Fields to me (red puffy nose and all). *Yuk!
As to VP Cheney. *I say bravo and old what's-his-name is probably VERY fortunate that Cheney didn't drop him in his tracks. *I think Cheney would have been formidable as a young, healthy man. *He just doesn't give off an air of intimidation or standing still for any liberal crap. *Now, THAT'S MY KINDA GUY!!!
Anyway, getting a new ISP has plumb pooped me out, so I think I'll go relax awhile and BBL. *Y'all have a G R R R E E A A T T DAY!

I threw a party for the president and received ten Bush/Cheney04 bumper stickers! That was almost three months ago, so I guess it helps if your a volunteer..
But any-hoody, they were all gone by the next day, and I've seen more Bush/Cheney Bumper-stickers Vs Lurch b-s, but not as many as there should be, what will probably happen, is when f-n Kerry gets a "sucker-mate" (runningmate) we will then see the commie-stickers EVERYWHERE, so we need to get as many distributed as possible!!
To make a pointless point (as I always seem to do) I don't have a Bush/Cheney b-s! I have a "W"04 sticker on the back of my p/u window it's very easy to see, and it looks http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Any bumper sticker that will easily come off after being in a Florida summer, will come off a car anywhere else in the nation, trust me. One little secret about bumper stickers is that they come off even easier if you heat them up with a blow dryer. Naturally, if you don't have heavily tinted rear windows, you could always position your bumper sticker from the inside, as some have mentioned. Another note for the curious. If you go to the Bush-Cheney website (hint, the link will be part of Sunday's trivia questions enabling you to find the answer), to the W stuff link, there is an option of buying "cling" bumper stickers (not really a bumper sticker, but a static cling window thingie to put on the inside of your window). Dear Dont,
Yesterday, the Bush-Cheney campaign, losing any last sense of decency, placed a disgusting ad called "The Faces of John Kerry's Democratic Party" as the main feature on its website. Bizarrely, and without explanation, the ad places Adolf Hitler among those faces.
The Bush-Cheney campaign must pull this ad off of its website. The use of Adolf Hitler by any campaign, politician or party is simply wrong.
We sent you a fundraising plea earlier this morning. But when this came up, we decided it was important to show you just what we're up against: a presidential campaign that is willing to do or say absolutely anything to win. You're our only line of defense against these underhanded tactics. Please contribute today:
https://contribute.johnkerry .com
If he were a real leader, George Bush would be talking about his first-term accomplishments -- and his second-term vision for America. But he has cast aside that opportunity because he has nothing to offer except a string of broken promises and a steady stream of fear and deception.
John Kerry is talking to this country about his optimistic vision for a stronger America. By contributing, you're giving him the resources to get that vision to millions more Americans every week. Help keep up the incredible momentum of this campaign by making a donation today:
https://contribute.johnkerry .com
Thank you,
Mary Beth Cahill
Campaign Manager
P.S. It's hard to believe that the Bush campaign would use images of Adolf Hitler. See it for yourself: http://www.georgewbush.com *
