Good Morning! http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sun1.gif There's lots going on out there so let's talk about it.

People still want to work in Iraq and Saudi because the money is so good and because some think it's a job that needs doing. The companies over there say applications are still coming in at a steady pace. Would you be willing to work over there?

Saddam has the gall to complain about how he is treated. He's very lucky to be alive at all. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/shake.gif

Ok, are you sitting down? I don't want to be responsible for anyone passing out and hitting their head on their keyboard. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *Bill Clinton is going to write two more books. That's right, two. I guess he must have missed telling us about a zit on his chin, yes, that's it, on his chin. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin2.gif *What could we call this triolgy?

You remember that Bob Barr was the House manager of the impeachment process for Clinton. He has a book coming out next month that is a rebuttal to Clinton's book. Should be interesting.

Clinton claimed that his wife http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/broomstick.gif was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, famed mountaineer. There is only one problem. He didn't become known until the http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/broomstick.gif was 7 years old. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laff.gif He lies because he can.

Did you hear about the Rev. Sun Myung Moon donning a crown in a Senate office building and declaring himself the Messiah while members of Congress watched. This happened back in March. I'm not sure how many members of Congress were there but what a http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif story. One Democrat from Illinois carried a pillow with gold crowns on it for the ceremony. Are we really paying these people for this kind of thing? http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/shake.gif

Ok, let's make it a good day even if we do have to share it with the left. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/yikes.gif

Words of Wisdom: *``I accept the legal conclusion of the attorney general and the Department of Justice that I have the authority under the Constitution to suspend [the] Geneva [Convention] as between the United States and Afghanistan, but I decline to exercise that authority at this time.'' President Bush to the everlasting disappointment of the http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/jacka.gif

Flake of the Day: "This movie (Moore) raises a lot of the issues that Americans are talking about, that George Bush has been asleep at the switch since he's been president." *Terry McAuliffe

"It's important for the American people to understand what has gone on before, what led us to this point, and to see it sort of in this unvarnished presentation by Michael Moore." *Senator Tom Harkin

Please remember to pray for our President and for our servicemen and women who are still in harm's way.

God Bless our great country. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/flag19.gif *May Freedom ever ring!

Howdy Y'All!

Looks like this morning's http://www.terminweb.com/weblog/images/smallkk.jpgs, http://www.terminweb.com/weblog/images/smallchockk.jpgs, andhttp://www.terminweb.com/weblog/images/smallsprinkles.jpgs are just in time for the folks in "chic chat". Enjoy.

Speaking of http://www.terminweb.com/weblog/images/smallkk.jpgs, I can offer a bunch as a prize in the "Name the Trilogy" contest. That's a much niftier prize than the gold crowns that are floating around the Congress. What's that all about?

How come it is I get so worked up when that Terry McAwful fellow opens his mouth? I guess he's proof positive that a nobody can be anybody in America. His problem is that he's just an anybody who thinks he's a somebody.

Sounds like Saddam is missing his million dollar gold commode. If he doesn't like his current accommodations, I propose we move him back to his rat hole (with 'round the clock armed guards, of course).

And score one for Senator Bill Frist. Seems like Senator Kerry, a Vietnam veteran, is more than just a little annoyed that he missed an important Senate vote on his one day trip to his place of employment. In fact, he's really upset!. Senator Kerry, a Vietnam veteran, stated on Wednesday that he will make a major issue about "political manuevering" in the campaign. Which means he has nothing except his own ineptness on which to create campaign issues. What a loser this guy is.

I'm off to my place of employment. Notice that I'm not just going for just one day -- darn it!

Later...

Our local network stations know nothing of this religious use of a federal building. Where were the Christian haters when Moon was being crowned the Messiah inside a federal office building? Typical of a dem to carry a crown up to a thrown and then deny that he knows the king.

Flower, the Clinton book isn’t doing much in Texas.

Why does Fox news have Jon Corzine on preaching for more troops in Iraq and the same old idea that all we need to do is ask FG&R to help out with money and troops and they will pitch in.

Some of the left wings biggest lies are by demanding that President Bush do things that he is already doing or suggesting that he should do things that they know can’t be done. The old; “Why didn’t Prim help her husband, if that was who the man in the kitchen really was, roof the house?”

I’m not surprised that Lurch thinks that the liberal horde will swallow the idea that the Republicans are the ones obstructing the business of the Senate by not letting him pop in and out to cast selected votes for his campaign portfolio.

I that diversity is the gold standard of the liberal horde why are we watching the Arab Islamists swarm out of the Middle East to out populate us and consume the Earth? Islam in its most benign form does not allow for tolerance of other religions.

Prim, speaking of equipment abuse; we just got a letter wanting to know who did what and why to my wife’s finger. The insurance wants to know if some other party may be responsible for the damages. Bill Clinton was right that telling the truth only causes you trouble. We should have told everyone that she http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smash.gif her own finger. I may go to jail for a few years but if we have internet I’ll try to stay in touch.

I think the idea of naming Clinton's books is a good idea. This group can surely come up with some excellant names. Maybe we couild send the top few to BOR for publication or send the top 10 to Letterman.

Today being shopping day will be a slower day than usual - gives a chance to rest up from all our tasks. Hope everyone has a great day.

No I wouldn't go to work in Iraq or Saudi. As a matter of fact, before 9/11, my husband lost his job because his company would not be able to send him to Saudi Arabia to do a job on their Computer Security systems. They had to send someone else because my husband is a Jew. After that, Mike suffered through a year and a half of unemployment. The friend who WAS sent to Saudi in Mike's place was stuck there for six months. His wife had to stay in the compund all the time and was languishing away with boredom and homesickness. Finally, the man (who is a Pakistani Muslim, BTW) had to call it quits and come home. He made lots of money but at what price?

The dems in Congress want a select committee to investigate the prison abuse case to see how high up the chain of command the fault can be pushed and to see how much President Bush’s perceived attitude influenced the troops to do what they did. They will be looking specifically for evidence of “a wink and a nod” passed from Sec. Rumsfeld to someone. The dems feel that it is their Constitutional responsibility to probe this case at least until the election and for the next five years if W is reelected. I guess I need a new copy of the Constitution.

I see that the name the books contest didn’t last very long before Mary Lou slam dunked two of them but the third may not be about http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wmoon.gif * *I suspect that Bill will want to write about what is happening right now behind closed doors in a replica of the oval office with a young oriental girl who he met when she came in to empty the trash. *By the time he finishes the second book she will be 18 and he will have moved on.

Yes Dave, Lurch’s once in a blue moon attempt to vote denial will dominate his campaign for several weeks. *The republicans should say that even though Lurch had said he would vote for the bill it is hard to know if he planed to vote against it before he votes for it and the Senate just doesn’t have time to go through all of the flipping.

I wonder if the people Lurch is talking to about how he went all the way to DC to cast a vote that was important to his campaign will feel his pain.

Good Morning Everyone!

I wrote to my two senators asking if I could come to the capital and put a crown on my head. Since my senators are Barbie and Di - there's a good chance they will agree.

Bill's next books:

"How to Innovatively Use Public Property for Donations - both money and pleasure"

"What to Look Out For in a Blue Dress, or always offer to pay your girlfriend's dry cleaning bills"

"Why You Need to Read the Previous Two Books"

Today's a docent library day. I need to take a couple of good books with me in case no one interesting shows up. I am reading a really thrilling book "Raid on the Sun" - how the Israelis pulled off the destruction of the Osirak Atomic Energy Installation in Iraq in 1982.

In case you are wondering...and I know you all are....lunch is left over arroz brought home from the restaurant yesterday. The chicken tamale and carné asada taco con guacamolé are history. Scarfed up - plate licked clean. There was no room in the tummy for the arroz.

I will turn on the TV to see who has blown up who and what today, then a walk, then a ballet barre and center.

Now you are all up to day and can go through the rest of your day with all this great information in the boring life of yours truly.

I relish boredom, I do, I do.

Basheva, don't feel bad... I hardly ever have room for the arroz myself. Well, I do sometimes, but I usually reserve those occasions for flan instead.

No need for an ark today... we're supposed to be back to normal, whatever that means. I did find out, in my experiment with the cat, that rain is a very dangerous substance, indeed. The cat refused to go out in it, and left some nasty scratches on my arm. Now I know why Noah chose to send out the dove, unless the Good Book failed to record his previous experiments with other animals. That would have been useful information last night.

More violence in Iraq. 69 people have been killed in a nationwide bombing attack. Zaqarwi is taking the credit for them.

Quote[/b] ]After hearing a sound bite of his whining explaining his side of the story, I would have to say that he is really, really, really upset about it.

I wonder if he wants some French cheese with that whine

Here is my quote of the day from Anne Coulter:

Quote[/b] ]But Clinton thinks people are dying to read 900 pages about his very ordinary life. He views being president as just one more episode in a life that is fascinating in all its stages because he is just so fascinating as a person – at least to himself. In a perverse way, it's utterly appropriate. What actually happened during the Clinton presidency? No one can remember anything about it except the bimbos, the lies and the felonies. Fittingly, in the final analysis, Clinton will not be remembered for what he did as president, but for who he did.
http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/twothumbsup.gif

Quote[/b] ]You see, unlike Republicans, Democrats can not win elections just by people voting. They have to have "get out the vote" drives in which they pay people to vote, or bribe minority groups in one way or another. Everybody else just shows up and casts a ballot, but the left has to dig deeper...they actually have to physically transport people to the polls to cast their ballot. ~ Neal Boortz

We all knew that, but the liberals will deny it.

Speaking about Saddam; It seems that IRC and the Red Cresent have their cajoñes all in an uproar. They are complaining about the United States censoring his letters to his family. The Geneva Convention specifically states that letters going out from PoWs can be edited to delete senstive information.

Greetings, All,
Happy Thursday!

Bill Clinton's Trilogy: "The Silly Head and The Odd I See"
"The 'Can't I Bury Tales?'"
"Mind of Clinton: A Space Odessy."

Would I work in Iraq or Saudi Arabia? I doubt it. I grew up in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and spent a total of 23 years there as a dependent and as an employee. That's enough, don't you think? Besides, I've had my fill of desert living.

Speaking of Michael Moore.....I hear there's a firing squad that's looking for something to do today.....

Kerry's upset? Why? Did he get caught being himself again? You know, if he were president, he'd never show up to work and then.......well, never mind....probably shouldn't dream like that.... http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Well, lunch is over and it's back to the mines. Y'all don't forget that God loves you each and every one and He made this day just so you could do something wonderful with it. So keep smiling, know you're blessed, and maximize your day.

I just heard the song, "To all the girls I loved before", by Julio Iglesias. *So I played with the words a bit, customized it for Clinton... http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mr_yuk.gif

To all the girls I've boinked before
Who travelled in and out my door
I'm glad they came along
I dedicate this song
To all the girls I've boinked before

To all the girls I once harrassed
And may I say I have no class
Young or old, short or tall
I didn't care, I grabbed them all
To all the girls I've boinked before

To all the girls who shared my bed
That were someone else's wife
I'm glad they came along
And I did nothing wrong
So what if I wrecked their life

To all the girls who cared for me
Who filled my nights with ecstasy
I'll write about the romp we had
For I will always be a cad
Why not profit from it too?

To all the girls I've used before
I'm glad you came along
And I dedicate this song
To all the girls I've used before

Whatcha think?

*glued an old power switch to an old belt
*bought gag stockings that had a design of little computers all over them
*made a necklace out of old connector cables and hooked an old mouse to it

Funny you should Doctors (playing doctor), after almost 18 yrs of marriage sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. A few months back I made myself a surefire "get his attention outfit":

*drilled holes in old floppy disks and slipped them onto loop earrings
*glued odd computer parts and pieces to a sheer nightie I bought on clearance
*glued an old power switch to an old belt
*bought gag stockings that had a design of little computers all over them
*made a necklace out of old connector cables and hooked an old mouse to it

Then sent him an IM (he was in our basement office, I was in our room) that said, "SOS, computer problems, can you come fix my hard drive...?"

OH the look on his face when he walked in!!

It seems they tried, but were unsuccessful, to get him to drop out of the presidential election. One woman was heard screaming (through closed doors) "You can't win!!!". It sounds like they have a lot of confidence in Senator Kerry...

I’ve had some proud moments in my life. I’ve set world records, earned military medals, won races and the like but hearing Algore mention me in his speech made me glow inside. I know the rest of you must feel the same so I’m here to pat y’all on the back for the good work. We are part of a well coordinated team of W-ites who intimidate our local and national media outlets by calling them and e-mailing them when they print and repeat lies about President Bush. What Algore doesn’t understand is that a people who tell the truth aren’t intimidated by demands for the truth. Gore compared our questioning of the press to the actions of Nazi Brown Shirts. Then a dems mouth piece defended gore and said he was speaking to the dem base for Lurch so that he could go after the undecided voters.

I love the dems using criminals to go door to door to spread the liberal agenda. If your home you get a pamphlet and if your not home they take your electronics equipment.

In the stupid people column: After the guy that tried to take out a few members of Congress and in the aftermath if the 911 attacks, the Capitol Police is patrolling the Capitol grounds with horse mounted cops. The chief of the DC police say that these horse mounted cops can patrol more ground and is more cost effective than 10 people on foot patrols.

Now there is a move afoot by some of the ones that are from the cities, to get the horses off the Capitol grounds. It seems that some of these Congressmen don’t want to step in the leavings. Geez I thought that they would be used to it. They are up to their butts in it all day, when the House and Senate are in session.

I think that the Congressman don’t want the horse patrols lurking around and ruining their Bill Clintoon moments with young Congressional interns.

Hi gang!! *We had quite the time in Wisconsin last night. *A tornado touched down about 5 miles from here and they were hedgehopping all over. *The sky was purple and the wind really started whipping things around. *We ran out to move everything next *to the house so the loose things wouldn't fly around! *Then we heard the tornado warnings on television *so figured we'd better at least get in the house. *The next was a report that the storm had actually passed over us and the tornado was down and back up. *It kept on heading west and did damage at some of the towns north of Appleton. *There were one or two *south of here, too, one of which was on the ground and killed one farmer and seriously injured his wife. *Their house is gone and they were found lying in *a cornfield.

In the midst of all these fun and games pains started in my left eye (the one I had operated on) and kept up all night long. *This morning I called the doctor's office *and they had me go in. *The Hub drove me and I'm half crying and half praying that I'm not going to be blind. *

My doctor wasn't there, but the other doctor looked at it and when he touched my eyelid I almost bit him. * *Whoa, Nellie!! *I have a stye!! *I never knew a stye felt as though you had ground glass in your eyeball. *I, frankly, was ready to call him a liar! *However, discretion prevailed and his prescription was Advil and warm compresses. *P.S. *The eye feels better already. *I took a stack of washcloths, folded them the proper size, wet them and put them in the microwave. *I have a warm tortilla holder, so I threw them in there and lay on the bed half the afternoon, applying the compresses.

So, what else is new? * *I know, *http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wavey.gif *Hi KY and Bigdog! *Welcome to http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/gopusa.gif *!! *It's a nice place to visit and a nice place to live *http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rofl.gif

M-L, nice comparison to TLOTR. *We'll have to get out the Ivory and wash out your keyboard!!

Hmmmmmm, nice tall ladies here! *I do get tired of looking at belt buckles and nosehairs!! *I'm a little closer to M-L and pRIM's height. *We may be altitudinally challenged but never attitudinally.

I hope the attacks in *Iraq mean this is a last ditch hoo-raw by the terrorists. *I heard that most Iraqis think their police are corrupt or part of the terrorists. *It was being said that the Bush administration made a mistake by not turning the army into police and re-arming them. *The way things are now, I think if they had, *the Iraqi army would have turned against our troops en masse. *They don't seem to be soldiers, per se, anyhow. *Hit and run sorties and roadside bombings are more the agenda over there. *

http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/yikes.gif *A trilogy by "The Lip Biter"?

How about this: *The first: * "My Life", the second: *"My Lies" *and the third: *"My Lizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zz........." *The proofreader for these will probably do a Rip Van Winkle and won't wake up until *Algore and Lurch are droning out their last speeches, at which point, he'll be back in his coma before they totter *back to "the home" just in time for their Ovaltine and Oreos break.

Time for more compresses, then to flounder through the forum.

Just listening to Rick Roberts, a fill-in for Michael Savage. *He's playing a tape of a protest against the Border Patrol who are going onto trolleys and buses looking for illegal alien. *They don't like that because it's scaring the people. *This isn't the American Way! *It's racist!! *

How can you talk to people like that? *The border patrol is supposed to patrol the border and keep illegals out!!

Boy, you guys are in rare form today. *What did you put in your morning coffee? *I need some.

Okay, since everybody is "bragging" about their stature, I am 5'11" barefooted and my dad always used to say that he didn't "know they stacked IT that high." *I was the tallest in my classes all through Jr. high and into Sr. high. Basheva will appreciate this, I started ballet when I was just entering junior high and I was already "too tall" to be seriously considered, so I stopped wasting my mom's funds. *I did learn how to properly carry my sky-high frame though, so it was a good experience. By the way, my teacher was a dancer who had danced for Hitler in her younger years. *Isn't that something? *But, she was all American. I wish I could recall her name, Basheva might recognize it. I'll give it more thought.

Onward and upward. *I just saw BOR and he had Jay Sekulow on (American Center for Law and Justice) who said that they were going to "meet the ACLU in every action they bring against the symbols of Christianity." *BOR was behind him all the way. *So, I have found a "cause." *Any and all donations that I can afford to give to his organization, I will do so, so he can carry on the good fight. *Maybe, ACLU will dry up and blow away after all. *It's a sure cinch that they will never be prosecuted for their racketeering ways.

Just saw part of Albore's speech. *The guy is seriously deranged. *I don't see how they can let him out unsupervised every day.

Terri, are you going to keep track of all of the "trilogy" titles and determine who's the winner? *On that subject, I have to give it more thought and come back later with my entry(ies).

Well, I guess I'll go read Ann Coulter's blurb.

I might recognize it if I am not having a senior moment.

It reminded me that I had seen an article recently in a dance writer's publication about a dancer who danced in Germany at that time, but looking through my files I can't find it. *As I recall she was a modern dancer. *Germany was a hot bed (no pun intended) of modern dance, it was not however particularly well known for ballet. *This changed in the 1960's when John Cranko became artistic director of Stuttgart Ballet. *

See, don't get me started or you will be (yawn) very sorry.

Dancers are getting taller, American Prima Ballerina Cynthia Gregory was over 6 feet tall on pointe. *The problem is finding suitable tall male partners. *It is never a waste of time to take lessons whether for recreation or vocation. *It's never wasted.

Oh - I got started again.....

Well anyway.....here's another title:

"My Life, In Eighty Volumes"

By the way what does the prize winner get? *An autographed picture of you-know-who-doing-you-know-what? *

Ah HA HA HA

The Commodore & his Lady unto the Forum: greetings.

Re KyRep1986: the Commodore gives an hearty welcome to his fellow Kentuckian. He is from Northern Kentucky, and wonders where KyRep is from. Perhaps we may have met before.

Re the Clinton Trilogy: only one word -- CENSORED.

As for the internecine conflict between Sunni & Shi'a Islam: our mercenaries follow Casca Loginus, Mercenarius AEternalis ("The Eternal Mercenary" in Latin) and wish that they would bomb each other and be accursed. (The Commodore has more explicit language, but as a Christian, a Mason, and an happily married man, his concept of language is that type which would not be offensive in the presence of the fairer sex.)

In re the handover next Wednesday: it will be accomplished, and the Occupation of Iraq will be ended. True, the Troops will still be there, but deployed elsewhere in-country. And the Democrats will be increasingly frustrated. (Cue the whines, and Inspector Theo Kojak, NYPD Retired, telling the whiners, "My heart bleeds for ya!!!") http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

A similar Kojakism is directed to the Congressional Black Caucus. The Nader decision will haunt Kerry big time. K will have to go left like Gore did in Y2K in order to keep the Dems within their fold, thus splitting the Dem vote.

And now, let the weak say, "I am strong".

Phooey, I'm still not able to spit it out. *It'll come to me in the middle of the night and wake me up I suppose. *Oh, and she told me I was "too tall" for a partner but that the lessons would give me more physical confidence - although I never slouched; my mom saw to that. *But I have to agree, it did add to my physical confidence. *Well, when I do come up with her name, I'll let you know. *Wouldn't it be a hoot if you heard of her, or had known of her?

Nancy, I caught that too - how upset the Chinese were about the prison fiasco, what a laugh that is. The UN is worse than worthless. I really do think that world would be better off without it. We certainly would be better off.

Well, I am going to get back to my book - it's a very absorbing tale of a woman and her family who were held captive for 20 years in the jails of the King of Morocco. She started out living in his palaces as a playmate for a princess - the palace was filled with wives and concubines. A really decrepid lifestyle. Oh, I forgot these people are supposed to be so pure. They also had thousands of slaves. This was in the 1970's - not ancient history.

So, y'all have a great night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite (or anything else for that matter) and keep the faith.

Did any of you hear the Air_Condition lady talking on Rush's show today--maybe we ought to take that up as a GOPUSA project--I know I couldn't send much, but she does have a paypal link on her site and she furnishes more than just ACs to our servicemen--whatever they need, she tries to find it, it seems!!! http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/twothumbsup.gif for a grand lady! http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/yes.gif

Reckon I've run out of stuff to say and unlike Charie, I can't talk endlessly on that. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rotflo.gif Thanks for all the laughs, ya'll--we all need those--whoever thought Republicans were stuffy, serious folk http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Ya'll have a good night--hopefully, my really important thing I was going to say today will come back to me sometime in the future! http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif BTW, I was 5'7 1/2--now, I'm probably 5'6 or less. Stormy the OLD http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/granny.gif of http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/gopusa.gif saying http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wavey.gif to all!
