Acutally, I think I posted something similar, that Florida was trying to get done, in the Education thread months ago, perhaps even a year ago (because I think it was during our 2003 state legislative session). He initially got the idea from them (either UCF or USF, I can't remember which), but he's trying to do this without any funding from the school... only private donations. And, I agree... when this came up at one of our YR meetings (which happens every meeting now, since he's one of us), we lamented the fact that we even have to discuss placing flags in classrooms, let alone have to suffer the foolish arguments against it, especially from the faculty.

You jogged my memory. It was originally a student at UCF, and it was sponsored as legislation this past session. I need to check to see if it passed or not.
