It was very quiet in here yesterday. I hope we hear from everyone at least once today cause we're going to try something new. Sometimes the news is a little slow on weekends.
First though, I want to encourage our guests to register and join us. We're friendly and you just might like it here. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
The Israelis have evidence that the Saudi's paid terrorists in the West Bank (http://gopusa.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=6&topic=84). They have a hand written list with names and dates that they've turned over to Fox News.
There is a rumor that instead of asking Cardinal Law to resign he may be reassigned to the Vatican. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sulkoff.gif
Mary Matalin may be leaving the Bush administration so she can spend more time with serpenthead. :turquoiserolleyes: There's no accounting for taste is there? http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/boots.gif
The impeached ex Pres is getting a new dog. I like dogs. Hope he takes better care of this one.
Now! Do we have any Trivia buffs here? Let's find out. I'll post a couple of trivia questions and if someone gets one of them right, I'll replace it with another.
<ul> What U.S. President was once offered a contract to pitch for a major league baseball team?
Which U.S. President had a pet parrot and what was the parrot's name?
<span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'>Words of Wisdom:</span>"Why can't Americans recognize a threat unless it comes with a bomb? Why is hijacking an airliner worse than hijacking our language, culture and territory? When will Americans wake up and realize what it will mean to be submerged in a sea of 'protected minorities' who have been taught to see us as hegemonic oppressors?" ~~ Paul Craig Roberts *~~ *

Hi Terri!
I know alot of people are really good at trivia....I am not one of them! I'm always the last one picked for Trivial Pursuit because I STINK BIG TIME!!!!
As for the proof of the SA connection to paying the terrorists......HA.. ...they've gotten alot of proof of Arafat's involvement too...and then been accused of "manufacturing" the evidence. With each passing day it is even more unbelievable to me the numbers of people around the world who support (even just with their voices) liars, cheats, murderers, and terrorists in the "peaceful" Muslim corner.
Regarding Law...I even heard a rumor that he might become the next POPE! I hope it's just that....a rumor.
I've never cared a bit for Mary Matalin so it would be no great loss to me if she left. I've always thought her marriage is more strange than it even appears on the surface.
AND.....I feel sorry for the new dog!
MAKE IT A GREAT DAY YA'LL. BBL.

Tell us all about it when you have time, ok?

http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/yelclap.gif *RIM!! Welcome Home!! Sure hope you had a good relaxing time. We want to hear all about it.
Saber, that's OK. We'll just see if anyone is interested in trivia and if not we'll wait till we grow a bit more. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">With each passing day it is even more unbelievable to me the numbers of people around the world who support (even just with their voices) liars, cheats, murderers, and terrorists in the "peaceful" Muslim corner.
<span id='postcolor'>I know. It's tough going but I think Israel is used to this because they've always had to be.
There are rumors that the seige on Arafat's compound could end soon.
The big domestic story this morning is about the "River Run" in Laughlin Nevada. Apparently two rival motorcycle gangs had a big shootout in Harrods. There are 4 dead, 9 badly injured, and over 100 in custody. The casinos have all been locked down.
This concerns me because the Hell's Angels have booked a small mountain town in Colorado for a few nights this summer. There is a lot of controversy about that in the town as you might imagine.

Good Morning everyone http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sun1.gif
* The impeached president IS a dog.....:boots:
* Mary Matalin and Serpenthead, a match made in http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/teeth2.gif heck.
* I'm not good at these trivia things...but I'll guess GW for the Major League pitcher.....mainly because he is! http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
As I noted earlier this week the government had warned of possible computer attacks. Well my wife who is a public official received a virus from China today:
"Received: from Bxxi([151.204.129.213]) by xinhuanet.com(JetMai l 2.5.3.0)with SMTP id jm1083ccad2b4; Sat, 27 Apr 2002 13:53:56 -0000 From: seashepherd <seashepherd@seashep herd.org>"
It is identified as a "W32.klez.gen@mm " virus by Norton's antivirus. No damage done as it was quarantined by Norton.

Morning all! I'm having a lazy morning before I begin my weekly Saturday morning ritual of a thorough house clean.
Grisly news this morning: Palestinian gunmen disguised as soldiers slipped into an Israeli settlement in the West Bank on Saturday and went from house to house, shooting residents in their bedrooms and killing four people, including a 5-year-old girl, the army said. (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,51297,00.html )
Hopefully people who have supported the Palestinians as legitimate "warriors" will begin to change their minds after this atrocity.

OMG SueElise! Hadn't heard about the "disguised" terrorists/murderers. And I'm sure the ME Arab/Muslim buddies will be celebrating in the streets and passing out candy this afternoon.

Saber, of course they will.
Really, I think the only people whose minds might ever be changed are the young who are simply believing what their professors tell them.

Good Afternoon All!
It is sooooooooooooo good to be back. I really missed my routine of getting up at 4http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif0 am and drinking a cup of coffee and leisurely catching up on what's happening. *Vacations are nice, but I won't be going to St. Augustine again any time soon. * I really enjoyed the "get together" and saw a lot of long lost friends from yesteryear. *BUT!!!!! The motel (LaQuinta) was the pitts and at one point I fell on a stairwell that was dark because the light was burned out. *I landed on my right knee but didn't hurt anything too badly (except my pride). *Anyway, I'm home and have spent yesterday and today unpacking and washing, etc. *Monday I go face the "new" boss. *Things just keep gettin' better n' better. *
Haven't kept up too much on the news, but............
</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">With each passing day it is even more unbelievable to me the numbers of people around the world who support (even just with their voices) liars, cheats, murderers, and terrorists in the "peaceful" Muslim corner.
<span id='postcolor'>
Ditto!http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/anon.gif
(Terri - I see you've been a busy little bee adding new icons) Grrrrrrreat!!!
On top of everything else, something happened to my camera and most of my pictures came out fuzzy. :turquoiserolleyes: *It looks like something is inside the lens. *Guess I'll take it to the repair shop and see what happened. *
The scenery in St. Augustine is just beautiful and we took the trolly tour through "Old St. Augustine Historic Sites". *The architecture is awesome. *We also went to visit the "Fountain of Youth" ~~ but the water smelled so bad we decided we'd just stay "old". http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mdr11.gif *
Then we went to see Potter's Wax Museum. *There was one room full of political dignataries from the early 1800's to present. *As you enter the building the very first wax figure you see, as if to greet you, is George W. Bush. *The one thing that was very conspicuous to me is.........there was no wax figure of Clinton. *Isn't that interesting.:biggrin :
We had a lovely dinner overlooking the bay and got to renew a lot of old friendships. *All in all we had a great time. *But ~~ home is where the heart is.:1luvu:
As for Mary Matalin ~ I always thought she was a RINO. *It made for good press to appear to be at odds with "serpenthead". *
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. *Guess I'll go and catch up on more news.

Aknauta, I missed your post earlier. Thanks for trying the trivia question but Bush isn't the answer I have. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *Be sure to let us know how the gun show goes. We should have a big one here next month.
</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE"> I really missed my routine of getting up at 4http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif0 am
<span id='postcolor'> You did, RIM??? *I had a job where I had to get up at 4http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif0 for 10 years. I can honestly say that I have never missed that although I did like getting off at 2:30 on the rare occasion that it actually happened.
Now that is really too bad about the motel lighting. I'm so glad you weren't hurt! *The new boss has probably spent the weekend getting her stuff together to meet you! Glad you like the new smilies. If anyone happens to see one they like we will try to upload it for you. Patriotic ones are especially good.
Your trip sounds great RIM. I love trolleys, boats, trains and any thing that moves.
Does anyone remember the story of the Clinton figure that was included in a wax museum display? It was, ahh... shall we say, altered. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mdr11.gif
