I'm so happy that we won this series...now on to the next!

Yes, Terri, it started in New York city at the beginning of this series. The National Anthem for Canada was sung and it couldn't be heard due to the booing by the Americans. Our radio stations were talking about it and wondering what would happen in Toronto. Many fans in Canada wanted to boo the US anthem but during the last games, this didn't happen but I'm afraid that tonight there were many Canadian fans who booed as the Barenaked Ladies (do you know them?) sang the USA National Anthem. But there was a huge crowd of fans who drowned out a lot of these folks with just hard loud clapping!

Anyway, on to the next series now. I do believe that our next series is two Canadian teams...Ottawa and Toronto.

Aberfoyle, that's too bad but to be expected that the Canadian fans would retaliate. Good for the ones who clapped. I've really never gotten the whole story on this as to why the booing in NY started in the first place but it's unacceptable. Yes, I've heard of the Bare Naked Ladies but I don't know what they sound like other than their bizarre name! I do know that the series was really hot with some dirty play so maybe that was the excuse.

* HRH Prince Salman bin Sultan -- Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, Armed Forces Office

The topic is &quot;The U.S.-Saudi Relationship&quot;.

I think this will be very interesting in light of what's going on in the Middle East. I'll definitely follow-up later with a report to all of you.

HI All!

Had a fun, relaxing day today at home &quot;playing&quot; on my porch and koi pond. I washed windows, vacuumed and just hung out there all day having a wonderful time!

Of course, I had the TV on while I went about my business and the big news of the day is the release to some Jericho &quot;prison&quot; the six dopes that Israeli wanted for various offenses....the murder of their Tourism Minister... and one who arranged the arms shipment back a few months ago. Apparently this &quot;prison&quot; is known as a revolving door, but we're taking them there because it's the only jail with hinges on the doors!!!! Now these Americans, Brits and Irish &quot;wardens&quot; are going to be overseeing their detention, but they have no weapons. SO....my question is...after these idiots break down the &quot;hinges&quot;, are we just going to stand by and watch as they run away?

Also, they've been reporting two fires on the grounds of the Church of the Nativity. The first one that sprung up seemed to be out in a fairly short amount of time, and there's another one going now in one of the bell towers.

The whole situation over there really does seem to change by the minute.....
