No, Terri, I hadn't heard this one. *I think it's an excellent idea. *In fact, I think Tenet and Mueller should both be given the hook and replaced by Mossad <sorta, kinda, maybe tongue in cheek>. *I think they can learn alot from them, BUT....would we put any of those lessons into practice? *I think it's doubtful with the PC culture around here dragging us down.

One thing I don't understand though is that we are still at "yellow" alert....even with these latest threats. *If the threats are worrisome enough to be announced, it seems to me that the threat level should be elevated.

I couldn't make it to watch Tancredo either last night and I'm so http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/teeth2.gif at myself! *I don't know if I've ever seen this guy who is quickly becoming a hero in my eyes! *I like putting faces with names....especially THIS guy!

Greetings and welcome to all the new members!

Well, I actually did manage to see the Tancredo portion of O'Reilly last night, and it was great. The main focus of Tancredo's comments where about hightlighting the fact that numerous incursions have been made by Mexican military and police officials into United States terrority.

He mentioned that just the other night US citizens in AZ were fired upon by a Mexican military-type vehicle (Hummer).

Tancredo believes that these incursions are almost always used to provide cover or distraction for Mexican shipments of illegal drugs into the country.

This is an incredible story, and one that we'll keep following.

Saber... O'Reilly was stunned too when Tancredo mentioned the AZ incident. Tancredo had learned about it only 45 minutes before he went on the air. This really needs to be covered.

I don't think it's a stretch of the imagination to say that some of the people here illegally are involved in the drug business. And we want to grant amnesty to these folks???

Bobby, thanks for the excellent report on Tancredo. It is unbelievable that they are actually shooting at us but apparently this is not unusual. I've never heard mention of it before. Hopefully, it will now start to be reported but I've found nothing on it so far. Amazing news today. The stuff in AZ doesn't surprise me. I said as much the first time - the drug mafia in Mexico is unfortunately under a lot of "police" cover.

Terri - I used to think I'd teach summer school, but that was before I taught! I don't even like to look at teens during the summer! But this way, by the time September rolls around, I can hardly wait to get back to school and meet my new kids!

Just heard that too, RIM. Thanks for posting it. Her parents will need everyone's prayers. What a nightmare they have been through and are still going to go through. I do hope the police will be able to finally solve this crime.

You know, it may just be that I feel more involved with the immigration issue, but I think the voices are becoming louder about this. I hope everyone here will write to their representatives and to the President about this. The more they hear, and the more this hits the news, the better chance we have.

We know she probably went to meet someone she knew ~ and I'm sure she didn't just wander out into the bushes and down an embankment. IMHO, she was murdered, by someone she knew and then dumped where the man with the dog found her. They'll probably never find out who did it. :o

I literally feel sick for the Levy's. The pain they have already endured for over a year now.....and to have it end in such a horrific way. Oh, the poor people. I truly cannot imagine the pain.

As for that story that I posted, YES Terri, it was the same article (much better that you placed it in Immigration than where I THOUGHT I posted it!!). I have absolutely NO clue where it went! I even copied the url for it to post in the Precinct! I've posted quite a few articles before so I DO know how, but I must have done something wrong!??? Anyway, I'm glad you posted it too (GMTA)....and that you put it in the right place!!

Another suicide bombing in Israel.......I mentioned it to my son and he said "uh, yeah,.......the sun rose in the east today too......" He's right too. It's getting so beyond ridiculous.

I don't think I can post right now about immigration. I've already run out of all of my rant chits for the day! LOL All I have to do is hear the "i" word....and I'm already in a lather!!

I think there's another hockey game on the "must see" TV shortly...unless I've got my days screwed up <dang, where IS that calendar, LOL> It's coming at a good time....today's been nothing but bad and depressing news. Time for a little "uplifting"!

Right. *Tonight, I'll not be watching any news. *I'll probably play my Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time video game, or my NFL Quarterback Club 2000 game (depends on if I want adventure or sports). *And I might write some more of my story I'm working on (which is now at chapter 17, tying for the longest I've ever written, and there is no way I can end it in less than 5 more chapters).
