SPARTANBURG, SC (Talon News) -- President George W. Bush sent an e-mail to Republican supporters on Tuesday stating he is more than ready to defend his record as president against likely Democratic presidential nominee John F. Kerry.

"The political season has arrived," Bush declared in the e-mail. "Finally, we know who my opponent will be."

Bush said he recently called Kerry to "congratulate him" for winning the Democratic primary and told the Massachusetts senator that he hoped to have a "spirited campaign" over the next eight months.

"This should be an interesting debate," Bush continued in the e-mail.

The Commodore & his Lady unto the Forum: greeting.

In re Kerry: expect the Dems to replace him with Hillary either at or after the Convention, in some manner, due to Hannity et al catching him in his mendacity. Case in point: his assertion that certain foreign leaders want him elected and Bush defeated this fall. On the dates he is asserting his meetings in foreign countries, he was in the Senate or elsewhere within the USA. Now he may have been on the telephone with Chirac (for example), but he has been caught out. And as he stumbles, look for Hillary, the Dems "ace in the hole", to come out against GW -- expect the media to assert she is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
