The Commodore & his Lady unto the Forum: greetings.

On Hannity's afternoon program, he received a number of calls from pro-Kerry supporters, willing to commit perjury in open court, or lie on the radio (including the usual ad hominem attacks on GW) in order to support Kerry. Hannity would use Kerry's own taped comments to trump the caller, but the caller would not listen. Hannity's response -- the caller gets a package of Kool-Aid. The reader is invited to visit the ruins of Jonestown, Guyana, for the significance thereof.

Commodore?

This follows my assertion that Liberals are not interested in "the lyrics," they just like "the song."

Kerry is singing the "I'm not Bush" song. Liberals don't care what the words to that song are, or if they are true, and they never will.

Modern Liberalism, especially in the post-Vietnam era, is of the opinion that individual morality is everything; each man or woman is his own god. There is no Judgment Day, no Day of Reckoning, but the end of life is the end of everything. "If it feels good, do it!" is the cry. Never mind that there is an higher standard of morality, which everyone must face. The only thing is Now, Now, Now.

Fortunately, though, the Presence of the Almighty is still with us, and will not allow us to go blindly into that evil night.

Commodore, the Jonestown reference is quite proper considering the future the Liberals have for us.

I believe that an agnostic once said "Even if there is no God, we should live as if there is one." The liberals forget that self-centeredness and the absolute pursuit of pleasure at any cost ensures the destruction of a society, not the building of one worthy of the name.
