Is this not the original intent of the framers of our Constitution? Is this not what you expect from your minister, to provide counsel, to provide a moral answer for you and for your family? Those who fear that by releasing ministers to stand in their pulpit fully armed because they think this original right will be somehow distorted, misused, and abused by the faith, certainly do not understand history nor our country. Free speech in the pulpit should never be enslaved, held hostage to political whim and mischief.
It was the intent of the original framers of our Constitution to ensure that there was a moral balance for our nation. This moral balance was removed by governmental edict, which this law seeks to provide redress for.
So as we move forward over the coming weeks, we must move with the dispatch that is necessary to free our warriors of faith to do battle. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. All men and women are created equal to pursue their God given rights. We must ask our congressional representative to enthusiastically support H.R. 235!

For our soldiers of faith it is their God given right to freedom of speech. So as to paraphrase Moses comments to Pharaoh, "Let My Preachers Go" to do God's work.
Justice delayed is certainly justice denied. The "The Houses of Worship Free Speech Restoration Act" simply corrects a half-century of injustice. This justice cannot be delayed any longer. Let us return our Sundays and our Saturdays to our leaders of faith fully protected with the right to the religious free exercise and free speech rights of churches and other houses of worship enjoyed before 1954. Join the effort to help level the playing field for all faiths, religions, and denominations, for God's sake and our nations' sake as well.
