ABC Becomes The 'All Barack Channel'

Just as it is startling to realize that the governments of Russia and China are now cautioning the U.S. to slow down in our out-of-control spending, and Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez makes jokes about Obama being to his political left, it is equally astonishing to realize that the government of Iran was, at least for a while, more open in its press avails than Obama and his new pet network intend to be in their little health care charade.
American innovation fuels progress in medicine across the globe. Nowhere on the planet has collectivist health care worked without rationing and medical mediocrity. We cannot allow this left-wing coalition of media and government to destroy the greatest health care system in the world. If we do, we may never get it back.
The American Republic has withstood much over the past two-plus centuries, from Civil War to an expansion of government that would have taken the Founders' breath away. But this nearly total collusion of press and government is a subtle assault from which we may never recover.
