Shapiro: How Obama Wins

By Ben Shapiro

President Obama is one of the great political knife-fighters in modern history. He is a failed president -- his economy is bleak, his foreign policy bleaker, his vision for American even bleaker still. But he wins.

He wins by losing.

President Obama has only had two major policy victories during his tenure: the stimulus package and Obamacare. Both are massively unpopular. The stimulus package launched the tea party movement. Obamacare led to the Republican wipeout of 2010.

Then Obama began to lose. He wasn't able to push forward climate change legislation or immigration reform or gun control or increased taxes before the election of 2012. And he won a sweeping electoral victory. The strategy was -- and is -- simple. Obama pursues policies that are widely popular and then purposefully sinks them by casting Republicans as obstructionists.

He is not truly interested in immigration reform; Republicans are fools to think that he is. Obama wants to raise the issue of immigration reform so that he can demonize Republicans as anti-Hispanic. That's why Obama ignores the broad support for an immigration plan that would provide border security once and for all and then deal with the illegal immigrants who live here. Instead, he proposes an immigration plan that would do nothing for border security while essentially granting gradual amnesty to those already here -- and to millions more who will cross the border unmolested.

By doing so, Obama puts himself in a no-lose situation: If immigration reform passes, he takes credit; if not, he blames Republicans as racists who simply don't like Hispanics. The media will abet this little game. Suddenly a failed proposal from Obama becomes a political winner for him.

The same holds true of the sequester. President Obama originated the sequester. It was his idea to put into place an automatic cut in the rate of spending increase, and it was his idea to focus those cuts on the defense industry. Republicans, idiotically believing that Obama was interested in honest negotiation, voted for sequestration. Now Obama runs to the cameras to suggest that if these cuts go forward, the world will end. All he asks to avert this earth-shattering crisis is a few tax increases. The media helps him pimp this narrative.

Again, it's a no-lose for Obama. If sequestration is averted, Obama takes the credit. If not, he gets to cast Republicans as hard-hearted Scrooges who want Tiny Tim to starve to death. Another failed proposal, another victory for Obama.

What does all this achieve? It achieves electoral victory. Once Democrats have enough votes in the House and Senate to ram through their agenda, the game is over: Obama forces through his policies. America moves to the left.

Obama understands what Republicans do not: Politics is a waiting game. If nothing gets done with a split government, Obama is happy to live with that. Meanwhile, he'll demagogue each and every issue until he gets the votes he needs to truly transform America.

I agree with your assessment 200% His presidency is all but a big Hollywood act. He should have won the Oscar last weekend! I say let the sequester go through, either way the GOP would be blamed. Now he wants to meet them on Friday which is all for show!

Comparing current politics to boxing, the GOP needs a knock out punch to unseat Obama… less than a KO, Obama, the showman, will always win.

I agree also! It’s refreshing to see a young man that has the abilities to think &; see for himself. So unlike a lot of old greys that have lost all their ability to have common sense & reasoning. They are blinded by their own greed & ignorance! One day, & I pray they have the opportunity before they stand before a Almighty God, they wake up & smell the roses!

The Republicans are “nice guys”, Obama and his cohorts are playing by Chicago thug style politics. Until conservatives and Republicans drop the nice guy bit and start playing by Chicago style rules, they won’t get anywhere and Obama and his bullies will run over the country.

I totally agree. Let the sequester happen. And to everyone, I think obama is the BIGGEST RACIEST alive. He blames the Republicans, but it is obama who is always talking about race!
obama is using these people for his own agendas!

obama and holder need to come clean about Fast and Furious and the Benghazi incident. obama keeps sweeping these incidents under the RUG!
By the way obama, the campaign is over, you need to be a president of the PEOPLE. That does not mean for you and your family to take vacations. Half go one way and half go the other way at the TAXPAYERS expense. How can you justify these things?
obomacare! HA. My insurance premium has increased since this went into effect. I didn’t think this was supposed to happen.

BF39, the cut is only a miserable 2% (a drop in the bucket. I like to see more cuts) and BO and his co-horts are already crying foul, using scare tactics and lies. The man is evil. He let hundreds of illegal loose today (but blaming it on ICE, forget the children) and he wants to take away our guns (for the sake of the children) ?His behaviour is like an employee holding his/her employer hostage by sabotaging the job they are paid to do because they want a pay raise for the lousy job they are doing

Let’s see. You’re 29 years old with no real and practical political experience. You’re writing this after having 8 years of one of the worst presidents of all time – a Republican that started 2 needless wars and cut taxes to fund them. The same president whose relaxing of regulations led to the second worst economic downturn in American history.

But you’re smarter than this president, who has had to clean up these huge messes.

Grow up junior and get with the real world. It is precisely this type of nonsense that contributes to the political crises that is harming people who work and make contributions to society.

Go read Ezra Klein’s writings. Klein is about your age and goes out and finds facts to support his writings. That’s why Klein is respected by conservatives and liberals and has real influence.

It’s all to easy to be a blowhard and resort to cheap personal attacks. I think you have the potential to be better than that. You’re certainly smart enough.

So Bush’s 2 wars weren’t necessary but Obama’s 4 are? At least Bush had congressional approval. Obama has yet to ask.
Relaxed regulations lead to the downfall? You don’t read much do you maynard. Sub prime loans and derivatives were established and expanded under Clinton. In fact there were several mergers that Clinton refused to allow to proceed until those banks increased their sub prime lending. Bush warned of the problem no less than 4 times but your buddies Frank and Dodd assured everyone there was no problem and refused to act.

People like you never cease to humor those of us that have real knowledge. Trouble is your ignorance is causing this country a lot of pain and grief.

Before you post your sniveling comments you should at least try to educate yourself with facts before you prove to everyone here just how ignorant and myopic you really are.

Interesting that you choose to degrade and name call Mr Shapiro but choose to give no examples of how he is wrong. Exactly what parts of his editorial do you think is “incorrect”? Has Obama been successful in pushing through the agendas that he claims failed? Did the Tea Party NOT start as a response to the bail outs? Did the Reps not have an overwhelming victory in 2010? You seem fine with namecalling and blaming but fail to give any facts to back up your opinions. Typical left, all talk no substance. Mr. Shapiro backs up his opinions with facts. Maybe you should try it.
BTW, looking at his facts, I certainly agree with his assessment/opinion. Yet, your name calling does nothing to support you opinions nor does it further any civil type of discussion.

You also have forgotten the increase in the nationl debt under Obama to almost $17 Trillion and growing at a rate of over $1 Trillion per year. You also forget that Obama was the least qualified person to be elected President in our history as he has never held a real job prior to getting into politics and only knows community organizing and how to manipulate apathetic and uninformed citizens (of which you may be one).

Obama is a brilliant but radical politician and is doing exactly what Mr. Shapiro described in this article and only about half of the country is open minded enough to see what is happening to our country.

The other half are drinking the koolaid of socialism of the nannystate concept which in theory will allow it’s constituents to basically “drop out” of working hard to enjoy the fruits of life because the Obama government will care for them from cradle to grave using money from the real producers in the country who are working hard and paying taxes.

The Obama administration is ideologically driven and is undermining the foundation of our country built around our Constitution but too many Ameicans are either too stupid, naive, or uninformed to see what is happening…which are you?

      >> The same president whose relaxing of regulations led to the second worst economic downturn in American history. <<

No, the same president who repeatedly appealed to the Democrat chairs in the relevent House and Senate committees for more oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac during the "Bad credit, no problem; No credit, no problem; No job, no problem" push by Democrats to get minorities into homes they could in no way pay for. Since the Democrats controlled both houses at the time, his hands were tied. That's what caused the crash, not Bush. Go troll elsewhere.

For Mmaynard119: Age is not an indicator of clarity, or knowledge. Age is only a precursor to experience…boots to ground as it were. You would be surprised just how much experience this young Mr. Shapiro has in the realm of real world practical experience. Especially within the political arena in which he so accurately describes it’s issues and it’s success. It’s called truth…and his generation is most certainly not putting any polish on the apple in their assessment of their future.

As far as two UN-necessary wars. 2/3rds of Democrats would disagree with you Sir. Along with their across the aisle counterparts, it was an over resounding cry for both wars. How to pay for it? Ahhhhh…. that’s the sticking point as every last political seat who cried out for those wars knew this would be a political hot potato issue for years to come. A nice handy beating rod….that is, if you become blind to the facts. Republican’s don’t point boney fingers and hurl at their across the aisle counterparts the truth…as I believe they should. Instead they stand their ground and take the fire. Shows you exactly what conservative principles truly are made of.

Relaxing of regulations…hmmmm…rewriting a bit of history are we? Long before Berneke, long before Paulson, we had…Greenspan. Greenspan worked and worked and worked in the mid to late 90′s to ease up on restrictions. A democrat president backed him all the way to the Moon! (Clinton) and Bush did follow in lock step. Greenspan was the financial equivalent to Einstein…and when he spoke, everybody listened regardless what color of the aisle they hailed from. So place it at Greenspan feet…where it belongs…thank you.

In the last four years, more policy changes, legislation that kills jobs, more stimulus money then could be accounted for, has all led us to the place we stand today. More government interference and dictating what we will give, when we will give it and how we will give it is not helping…it’s making it worse.

Perhaps, for now, ignore Mr. Klien’s writings, and instead re-invest your time into the reading of Ayn Rands “Atlas Shrugged”. Mr. Sharpiro gets it, and writes accordingly. Better for us all to truly understand then just to throw mud at a wall and see what sticks to assuage our souls of the mess we’ve help to create by supporting those who do not envision America..but a version of America never seen before. (God help us we may never see it.)

      ~M

Saddam Hussein the evil dictator of Iraq , in case you have forgotten, invaded Kuwait and killed many innocent people then set 130 oil wells on fire. Only our Us troops were able to drive him out and Adair of Texas put out the fires of hell. Saddam also gassed thousands of Kurds in his own country. He paid terrorists families $60,000 for each attack on innocent Jews in Israel killing woman and children at Mcdonalds and elsewhere. Also he made war with Iran with many killed as well . So mmaynard, you think this action to free Iraq from this monster was needless? Afganistan was an alkida sanctuary but now the people there have a chance to be free from terror, and Bin Ladin is dead. The attacks on Israel by suicide bombers are nil. Thank you George Bush , without your swift action after 911 these evils would have grown worse .

She claimed that the young girl who was killed in Chicago was killed by an automatic and would not even call the killers for what they are, killers. Then ABC very conveniently edited out this “stupid and ignorant” remark of hers but posted the full length on their website, so that they can conveniently use the excuse of we edited it due to lack of time! Dont you hate it when they pundants says that the GOP has the wrong messaging? There is nothing wrong with the GOP messaging. I remember reading Atlas Shrugged in high school rather than paying attention to Ivanhoe and House of Seven Gables like I was supposed to be (I still don’t see them as the great literature they were billed as) and thinking that this could never happen in our country. I was still young, naive and idealistic enough to believe the BS that we had been taught in history and civics classes.

Atlas Shrugged is being re-released in a serial type format now. Part two (just released) is where Dagny Taggert (the books protagonist) meets John Galt (Mr. mysterious), so the movie has a long way to go. Ayn Rand, the author, was raised under the rule of communist Russia and fled the country to escape it. She writes in most of her books and essays that the fruits of a man’s labor belong to the man alone and no one else. No one deserves to benefit from another’s work without their agreement and cooperation.

Right now we have a President and his staff and cabinet that believes exactly that. Take from those that have earned it and give it to those who have done nothing but stand around with their hands out demanding that they get their more of their “fair share” having done nothing to earn it. Bill Gates can attest to the government forcing him to give to others for the “good of the country”. what he had developed.

That’s a funny phrase coming from a government largely populated by those who do nothing unless there is something in it for them. The game is rigged so that only those acceptable to the established political parties will ever advance up the ladder. It’s play ball or go play in the street.

Our new Senator Ted Cruz is catching a lot of heat because he won’t bow and scrape and act like the new Senator he is. He’s actually doing what he campaigned to do, something that is foreign to most of Congress. He’s already earned a shot from McCain which I count in his favor.

Mmaynard119 I have been through several presidents term of office. Even Jimmy Carter was not as bad as obama has been and is now.
obama and holder has been hiding the true facts about Fast and Furious and Bengazhi. You know, obama had to go to Las Vagas for a campaign fundraiser at the beginning of the Bengazhi affair?
Oh, and all the bailouts he handed out and the economy bottomed out, I lost half my retirement then. obama caused that, not Bush.
The illegal immigrant situation. obama just let most all those criminals out of jail. What are those criminals going to do to US? Why cant they be sent to their original homeland and apply for citizenship the right way? You are probably going to say he didnt do it, but HIS agents did. But we’ve had Fort Hood and the times square bomber incident, to name a few, under our current illustious leader’s watch. And how about Fast and Furious and Benghasi, which are still being investigated?? Though, 7Papa7, I did watch a quick blurb at the black business convention in Washington a couple days back. Very clearly, one of it’s congregants clearly and concisely spoke to his disappointment (one he was not alone within his group), how he had voted for Obama simply due to color and how wrong he was n that, as well as stating clearly how the Obama white house/policies/legislation is/was/has been killing free enterprise, capitalism and the free market that built this country. It was refreshing to say the least.

I don’t believe Obama has enough substance and character to do much these next three and half years. The sheen is off, no more sparkles or twinkles to glaze and glamor the eyes with…his bag of tricks running dry. More and more of his faithful are beginning to see, and they are vastly disappointed, embarrassed and saddened that their Hope and Change has hurt the country.

….and we need to be there for them as they come down off a fantasy filled high that Obama himself blew enough hot air into to keep their feet from touching ground these past four years. It’s gonna be a hard ‘thump’ as one by one those faithful hit ground and fall to their knee’s with the weight of it. Offer a hand and a smile…and put them to your side in the march forward to eradicating this dangerous and socialistic idealist that buffaloed almost half the country.

      It’s well worth the effort…and ensures we will NEVER go through this again in our life times. : }

This only works because the press is behind him. It would never work with a Republican president, because the press would call him on it.

So let’s not give him too much credit. The Benghazi/Tiger Woods golfing trip examples are evidence.

Obama wins by manipulation. It is a classic abusive relationship tactic. It is never about discussion and compromise. It is always about control. Republicans don’t get it. Guys like Romney don’t get it because he comes from a healthy point of view. Obama doesn’t need to plan it out. He just does it. It starts with a contempt and disrespect for the other side. He can never let them win at anything because they are unworthy. He thinks he is fair and doing the right thing. THAT is the problem. The most dangerous lies are the ones you tell yourself.
Republicans need to point out the manipulation and one sidedness and throw stuff back at him. An example would be “Mr. President, are you unable to prioritize more appropriate spending cuts? “.
Highlight the areas he is getting away with: “Can’t the president make any hard decisions?”
He can’t make hard decisions because he views himself as the good guy and savior to his people. His people are just as invested in the idea as he is. It is a natural bias to avoid such blaring realities of life and try to avoid the unpleasantness.
The key is realizing that adults have to deal with difficult situations and adults have to do what is best for everyone not just the ones that are crying the loudest.

      You’re correct.
The Republicans and Romney lost because of their insistence on playing by the rules, being civil to the opponents, letting the Democrats lie without calling them liars, and letting them commit voter fraud without calling them on it.

The Democrats won because they cheated, and we let them get away with it.

I have spent a lifetime with selfish, self centered, self righteous women, albeit beautiful. They were my specialty and cause for much misery.
Illigitimicarborundum meaning that they wear you down, is a reminder that you can not win with these people. More importantly you can not share. Relationships are based on sharing not control. You are best to avoid the illigitimi and concentrate on people that will work with you, respect what you do and reciprocate the love and energy. Ahhhh…Life is good.

It’s a wonder to me that no one in the media (that I have heard or seen) in response to Obama’s constant haranguing of the Republicans for not making just a tiny compromise on sequestering will not make this same tiny compromise himself. So it reads like this: Do it my way or you’re not compromising, you’re un-American. You’re driving this country down the road to ruin, not me.

He’s doing nothing more than working to get more taxes from the wealthy (who already pay most of the taxes in this nation anyway) and to get the national debt ceiling increased. He’s working in every way he can to destroy this nation and drop it to third world status.

He must have had some great Muslim teachers in Indonesia to be so filled with hatred for this country and work so hard to destroy it. I just can’t understand what the people that voted for him think they are going to get from this dog and pony show. I can’t understand why the people, less the blacks and Mexicans, after hearing his lies and seeing his complete lack of confidence and understanding of simple Economics 101 voted for him a second time.

At times when in my cups I almost hope that he is successful just so I can see his suporters wandering the streets asking what happened? Where’s my hero?

Mr. Shapiro is a bright young man whose thought I don’t always agree with, but I concede that it is real thought, a rare sound in today’s din of hip-shot and spleen venting. Whether it is Mr. Obama’s intent to be always drawing blood I cannot say, but he is skilled at it truly, intentionally or not. One of the reasons he is perceived to be so clever is that he is a genuine adolescent maneuvering in a crowd of pompous – though in some cases still principled – grownups, and grownups, as every adolescent knows, are easy to manipulate. Mr. Obama’s releasing criminal illegals in advance of “sequester,” for instance, is an act of spiteful pout that can nevertheless be mistaken for brilliant strategy. He’s smart – this man we elected, yes – but he “thinks” with his lower lip. The much-maligned Mr. Bush was not a good President either, I agree, but I do not, nor did I ever, consider his weaknesses to be ones of character. This guy is another matter.

No one can read a whole speech and analyze it, so we give them sound bites. Our attention span has been reduced to 10 minute intervals between commercial breaks. I’ve been watching each and every Republican vote, and much to my chagrin, am not very hopeful that they can lead this country in the direction that follows our Constitution. I am also, concerned that our Nation will not survive the onslaught of the Progressive Left on our founding documents and the freedoms I have enjoyed for the past 66 years. My fear is that there will be more blood spilled on our Beloved Country’s soil, than was spilled in the Civil War. War is not Civil, it is hell on earth. I served my country militarily for seven years. I am a Patriot, pure and simple. ……..enemies, both foreign and domestic.

“If sequestration is averted, Obama takes the credit. If not, he gets to cast Republicans as hard-hearted Scrooges who want Tiny Tim to starve to death”.

After all the doom and gloom Obama has thrown out about the job losses and service cuts, the House said “let’s give Obama the flexibility to decide what gets cut.” He immediately vetoed that idea because he knows he would be the culprit who would take the blame, and that would waste all his effort to paint the GOP as enemy.

I think if that legislation was introduced in the House, Obama would be forced to drop his demands and try to compromise with the Republicans.

No one knows what is going on behind the scenes of our government. My wife who works for the commissary office at a major military installation just learned that in order to cut the defense budget, they are taking the full time employees from 40 hours a week to 32 hours per week. The part-time employees are even worse off and will barely be able to keep up with their household necessities. Yet, I read where Obama lifted the executive order which froze government pay and offered the Vice-President and Congressional leaders a raise as well as other high ranking officials. Meanwhile our dear president jets off on a $7 million vacation on one spot of the earth while his wife jets off to another without any conceren of what they the government leaders are doing to the workforce. I won’t travel 200 miles because the gas prices are again soring! Must be nice to bow low to a man who will have nothing to do with you once he’s used you and thrown you out. But hey, lets not talk about the fact that Kuwait is no longer being invaded by an enemy force and has become a stable country again, the United States to date has not been attacked by jihad forces, and at least we knew where we stood under Bush with Israel. You can’t say that about this president. Bush I don’t think would have followed through with sending our miiltary equipment to a country that wants to kill us with the brotherhood being in charge in Egypt. Arms that can be used against American’s some day. Mr. mmaynard119, you are the problem with this country and your humbly bowing to your king. I want a president that will bring about patriotism again, not mock our flag when the first lady says something like, “All this for a dam flag.” That blessed flag has been our call to arms as well as call for peace. Red is for Blood of Patriots have died to free us, white is for justice and government of law, blue is for honor and faith in all we do . . . this is OUR FLAG, this is OLD GLORY, the red, white and blue. You better hope Mr. mmaynard119 that this president will not hide if we are ever attacked on American soil again because he doesn’t know what to do. God bless America and God save America from this man! II Chronicles 7:14! Before it’s too late.

He wins by being a fraudulent sociopathic liar that cheats, steals, omits facts has a press and a complicit treason ridden congress that has no ***** to impeach.

Lets call it what it is… the Sociopathic Party…
It’s time to get the word out and expose the association of sociopathic personality disorders and liberalism. These symptoms are exactly the description of Obama and nearly all in his administration. What’s even worse is, they recommend if you come in contact with someone with these personality traits, that you call your local police dept. because they are extremely dangerous !

    THE MALIGNANT PERSONALITY:

These people are mentally ill and extremely dangerous! The following precautions will help to protect you from the destructive acts of which they are capable.

First, to recognize them, keep the following guidelines in mind.

    (1) They are habitual liars. They seem incapable of either knowing or telling the truth about anything.

    (2) They are egotistical to the point of narcissism. They really believe they are set apart from the rest of humanity by some special grace.

    (3) They scapegoat; they are incapable of either having the insight or willingness to accept responsibility for anything they do. Whatever the problem, it is always someone else’s fault.

    (4) They are remorselessly vindictive when thwarted or exposed.

    (5) Genuine religious, moral, or other values play no part in their lives. They have no empathy for others and are capable of violence. Under older psychological terminology, they fall into the category of psychopath or sociopath, but unlike the typical psychopath, their behavior is masked by a superficial social facade.

If you have come into conflict with such a person or persons, do the following immediately!

    (1) Notify your friends and relatives of what has happened.

Do not be vague. Name names, and specify dates and circumstances. Identify witnesses if possible and provide supporting documentation if any is available.

    (2) Inform the police. The police will do nothing with this information except to keep it on file, since they are powerless to act until a crime has been committed. Unfortunately, that often is usually too late for the victim. Nevertheless, place the information in their hands.

Obviously, if you are assaulted or threatened before witnesses, you can get a restraining order, but those are palliative at best.

    (3) Local law enforcement agencies are usually under pressure if wealthy or politically powerful individuals are involved, so include state and federal agencies as well and tell the locals that you have. In my own experience, one agency that can help in a pinch is the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal Revenue Service or (in Canada) Victims Services at your local police unit. It is not easy to think of the IRS as a potential friend, but a Swedish study showed that malignant types (the Swedes called them bullies) usually commit some felony or other by the age of twenty. If the family is wealthy, the fact may never come to light, but many felonies involve tax evasion, and in such cases, the IRS is interested indeed. If large amounts of money are involved, the IRS may solve all your problems for you. For obvious reasons the Drug Enforcement Agency may also be an appropriate agency to approach. The FBI is an important agency to contact, because although the FBI does not have jurisdiction over murder or assault, if informed, they do have an active interest in any other law enforcement agencies that do not follow through with an honest investigation and prosecution should a murder occur. Civil rights are involved at that point. No local crooked lawyer, judge, or corrupt police official wants to be within a country mile if that comes to light! It is in such cases that wealthy psychopaths discover just how firm the “friends” they count on to cover up for them really are! Even some of the drug cartel biggies will scuttle for cover if someone picks up the brick their thugs hide under. Exposure is bad for business.

    (4) Make sure that several of your friends have the information in the event something happens to you. That way, an appropriate investigation will follow if you are harmed. Don’t tell other people who has the information, because then something bad could happen to them as well. Instruct friends to take such an incident to the newspapers and other media.

If you are dealing with someone who has considerable money, you must realize that they probably won’t try to harm you themselves, they will contract with someone to make the hit. The malignant type is a coward and will not expose himself or herself to personal danger if he or she can avoid it.

Based on this advise, what if that relationship consist between the people and the government? What does a country of 300 million do if it is being controlled by a small group of 535 sociopaths (Congress) which has total control over the freedoms the people have been granted at the birth of the greatest country and born out of the need to escape the very tyranny that is destroying it? Who does one call if the police and even the military become a part of it?
How about universal background checks and psychiatric evaluations on our politicians? Do not give up your weapons to sociopaths. It did not work well for Germany.

While I agree that Obama has all the earmarkings of a classic sociopath, we must also look at the fact that he is a Marxist/Leninist.

His supporters certainly don’t even understand what that means, nor do they have the ability to place it into any historical context.

Marx who was the father of Communism, believed that the workers of the world would rise up and adopt Communism. When that did not happen spontaniously, Lenin changed the game to one of ruthless power grabbing.

Lenin believed that Communism would be achieved by doing anything to gain power, and preached and practiced the method. He basicaly advocated lying, killing, making false promises, and deception by pretending to be whatever the people wanted. Promise anything to achieve power. You will not have to keep those promises. Once you have the power, you can do anything you want.

Bring as many people as you can into the fold by letting them know why a free market works and socialism does not. Arm yourself with every bit of knowledge you can to answer questions and explain things in a way that’s easy to understand. Stand up to the constant threat of being called racist by simply saying “No, it’s not true.” Remember, the ignorant voted for Obama. Obama wins by mainstream Americans sitting on their hands during the 2012 elections and remaining a spectator as massive election fraud took place right under their nose to disenfranchise the nation. Obama wins if mainstream Americans do not put 20 million pairs of boots on the streets surrounding capitol hill and recapture control of our federal government.

It is all true, but what is worse 90% of the public is falling for it hook line and sinker. Americans have become lazy, dumb, have an I don’t care attitude, want everything for free or cheep or they think it is owed to them and they have been being told that for almost 40 years now. Through the news, school and the politicians. The Republicans have no game! They lost and will continue to lose until they stop playing catchup and playing the Dem’s game. They’ve been blaming Bush for 5 years now and it is working. What was it that Hitler said? “But the most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly and with unflagging attention. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over. Here, as so often in this world, persistence is the first and most important requirement for success.”
Their doing a damn good job of it too! The other quote that gave an insight to what is to come “Never lat a good crisis go to wast” Ex. Sandyhook and now sequestration and it is the Republicans fault. And the dumb American people are buying it! They can’t remember that Obama just a few months ago said that he would veto any bill that tried to stop the sequestration because that must happen. Now the Republicans are scrambling and spinning like props trying to come up with something that will appeases the other party and not look like they are the problem.
For one I don’t know what can be done to stop this and my fear is that the left wing will get elected this next go around and they will get the power they need to gut our Constitution so we can be more like the world in their view.
I’ve voted in every election and have tried to make a difference but I can see why people feel like their vote doesn’t count. Especially when politicians can get groups to stuff the ballot boxes with illegal votes and then challenge any attempts to stop it. What is it going to take to stop this madness, another civil war or do we just lay down and take it?

I do not think that 90% of Americans are buying it. His so-called mandate was by just over half. Everything he does strengthens the resolve of his opposition and also brings about a few converts. He is campaigning so hard that you know he is worried.

This mask is wearing thinner every day. If the GOP does not screw it up, I don’t think he would be elected for a third term, even though in his heart of hearts would like to be permanent King.

I am hoping that he will lose power in the next election cycle. What worries me more is the damage that he will continue to do in the meanwhile.

But his days are numbered, I would like to believe.

I still think some bad times are ahead for us all. But this too will work against him.

Yes, politics is a waiting game. But it is also a dishonest, unethical game. Obama is evil incarnate. Pure Marxist all the way. No lie is too incredible to use in furthering his agenda. The very sad fact is that more than 50% of voting Americans can’t figure this out.

Do you think it is they can’t figure it out or don’t care as long as he delivers the free stuff?

“The media helps him pimp this narrative.”

Whom does Obama report to? Not his voters. The one-world order elitists perhaps? Who owns the media?

In this age, can one man caring not to prepare, present or pass a budget, not lead but follow a carefully planned agenda, supported by so many intelligent people, not have a clue where he and his ‘them’ are taking us? Will our grandchildren forgive us?

Is America a pawn to world-view agenda?

Do entitlement receivers have a clue where and how their narcissistic positions were developed, refined and fed to them?

Will we even recognize America four years from now?

Do you care for the strings tightening on the puppet you are?

Doesn’t anyone required to live on a budget realize the reality that our country is we are a 100% financial disaster, either by indifference or by purposeful demise?

There are a good many people who do not believe this man won the re-election. I recently spoke with a good friend in Canada. She asked how the Obama thing is going here in the states. She told me something very interesting. Over in Canada they do not believe Obama won the election. The pollsters over in Canada took polls after the election here and said from their polling he could not possibly have won. Something is going on in our country with our elections and this is the next battle the American people should be taking up. And where are the Republicans? How could whole counties claim no votes whatsoever for Romney. That in and of itself should have been a red flag for our voting system!

Any facts to back this up? I think he won fair and square even with all the voter suppression action.

Isn’t that akin to an oxymoron? “He won fair and square even with all the voter supression action”.

Rigged elections only recently have been a problem. We definately must fix this. But I think it is reasonable to assume that he very likely did not win fair and square.

Fixing elections is just another Marxist/Leninist tactic.

The end justifies the means for a Marxist/Leninist. Do anything to gain power.

But they can only get away with so much fraud before it become so apparent that the illusion of choice is not maintained.
