Malkin: 'There Will Be Blood' - Union Violence in the Age of Obama

By Michelle Malkin

Not so many moons ago, President Obama urged us all to "make sure that we are talking with each other in a way that heals, not a way that wounds." He Who Heals advocated "a more civil and honest public discourse" in the wake of the January 2011 Tucson massacre. As usual, though, the White House has granted Big Labor bullies a permanent waiver from the lofty edicts it issues to everyone else.

This week, menacing union goons unleashed threats, profanity and punches in Michigan, which is now poised to become a "right-to-work" state. Obama met the initial outbreak of violence with the same response he's given to every other union outbreak of violence under his reign: dead silence.

On the floor of the Michigan legislature on Tuesday, Democratic state Rep. Douglas Geiss thundered: "We're going to pass something that will undo 100 years of labor relations, and there will be blood. There will be repercussions!" Geiss referenced the Battle of the Overpass, a violent 1937 incident between the United Auto Workers and corporate security officers for the Ford Motor Company. Dozens of union activists were beaten.

But Geiss wasn't crying victim. This was clearly a signal to the brass-knuckled Big Labor bosses, whom Obama egged on during his Monday visit to the state. Obama inveighed against right to work with his usual class warfare dog-whistle. The thugs heard it loud and clear.

As the Michigan House voted inside to approve right-to-work legislation allowing workers to choose whether or not to join/fund unions as a condition of employment, protesters outside the state Capitol ambushed a tented information booth sponsored by the pro-right-to-work state chapter of Americans for Prosperity. Angry union mobsters were filmed cursing and screaming just before the attack.

One hurled an unidentified object at police officers. Another screamed at a citizen journalist filming the chaos: "Freedom of speech this, you f'n fascist a**hole!" Several peaceful AFP members and supporters were stomped on and punched while trapped under the tent as the labor operatives chanted: "This is what democracy looks like." Young Michigan conservative activist and YouTube entrepreneur Steven Crowder was beaten by at least two union assailants while trying to protect the tent and those inside.

Of course, this is just more of the same twisted "civil and honest public discourse" of the administration's union protection squad:

--May 2010: The Service Employees International Union buses in 700 workers from 20 states to storm Bank of America deputy general counsel Gregory Baer's neighborhood and terrorize his youngest son while at home alone in Chevy Chase, Md. The tactic is straight from an SEIU intimidation manual on using community groups to "damage an employer's public image and ties with community leaders and organizations."

--September 2010: AFL-CIO chief Richard Trumka praises Nancy Pelosi for taking Obamacare and driving "it down the Republicans' throats and out their backsides."

--August 2011: Striking Communications Workers of America declare "open season" on Verizon. Dozens of cases of sabotaged cable lines are reported.

--September 2011: ILWU bosses lead a "Days of Rage" protest at Port of Longview, Wash., taking a half-dozen guards hostage, sabotaging railroad cars, dumping grain, smashing windows, cutting brake lines, threatening a local TV station and blocking trains in violation of a judicial restraining order.

--February 2011: A Communications Workers of America union thug is caught on tape striking a young female FreedomWorks activist in Washington, D.C.

--February 2011: A Providence, R.I., union supporter says to a cameraman: "I'll f**k you in the ass, you faggot."

--February 2011: Democratic Rep. Michael Capuano of Massachusetts revs up Big Labor goons by urging them to "get a little bloody."

--March 2011: Racist SEIU supporters in Denver, Colo., taunt gay black tea party activist and entrepreneur Leland Robinson, who criticized teachers unions at a Capitol rally, by calling him "son," telling him to "get behind that fence where you belong," and jeering, "Do you have any children? That you claim?"

--March 2011: In Madison, Wis., an unhinged crowd of AFSCME, UFCW and SEIU union protesters corner a Wisconsin GOP senator shouting, "F**k you!" and "Shame!"

--August 2011: In Boston, local IBEW 827 storms Verizon Senior Vice President Bill Foshay's neighborhood. Union members scream, "We're here to fight" in front of his private residence on a weekend afternoon.

--September 2011: Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa screams: "President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these son of bitches out..."

--December 2011: Union-endorsed port protests in Oakland, Calif., Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego and Houston cause massive commerce disruptions, lost wages, property destruction and untold injuries. A year later, ports are shut down on the West Coast during the busy holiday season, and another set of union port strikes -- spearheaded by the violence-prone ILWU and ILA -- threaten the East and Gulf coasts at the end of the month.

We should "do everything we can to make sure this country lives up to our children's expectations," Obama lectured just over a year ago from his politeness pulpit. In the age of Obama, it's Opposite Day 365 days a year.

What a difference in opinion and position between the Individual and his RIGHT to work and the Union collective of thugs and their RIOT to work. These are collectives of small minds and small men too timid to compete individually on a level playing field of individual competition, so they join their band of socialist Union collectives of timidity to gain the courage collectively, what they lack as individuals. The cumulative personality that develops when two or three are gathered in the name of the social injustice of the mob mentality causes antisocial behavior that would never occur, if the individuals were left alone to their own devices and individual consciences which soon evaporate under the collective influence of the collective socialist conscience of SELFISHNESS brought on by the fear of having to face their own deficiencies as individuals. This is the power of the COLLECTIVE spirit to do destruction upon their INDIVIDUAL fellow man that they would never consider individually, but defines the danger that socialist COLLECTIVES present to a nation.

This used to be a nation that edified the clarity and sanctity of the individual, and his rights to freedom of choice to work where he wants, and associate with whomever he pleased. This is what you get when you place the rights of the COLLECTIVE State and Statism, over the rights of the individual man, his conscience and his right to worship wherever he finds his maker. It is the individual CONSCIENCE that must be destroyed through mob action, as the conscience is the very vehicle which GOD uses to speak to our hearts, which is the reason the seculars must first kill individual conscience and deny the existence of GOD, before the Secular Socialist collective can gain power over the individual will, and conquer and rule over the individual soul. The power of the social conscience and SOCIAL consciousness must rule Supreme at the expense of individual Liberty for them to remain in power over the people, who must surrender all aspects of individuality that make us unique in the sight of God, where the State and the Collective must become the new object of worship at all costs to individual worth that is always sacrificed for the edification of the collective mob. This is all these Socialist Democrats have to offer. This is what we just voted in to rule over us. Be careful what you ask for.

“We are a REPUBLICAN GOVERNMENT. Real liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of democracy.”
    Alexander Hamilton

There will be more of this union violence and thuggery. BO is and will continue to stir the pot!

at one time, Unions actually represent for something. Gone are the days. These days they are only interested in filling up their fat cat Union coffers by forcing and intimidating workers to subscribe and represent workers who partake in alcohol and getting these irresponsible workers back to work (the Chrysler workers)

A lot of folks remember the quote by Nikita Khrushchev to president Eisenhower; and for those that don’t, here is a little food for thought.

“America will fall without a shot being fired. It will fall from within.”

We all need to ponder on this a while and see that this is exactly what is happening today.

Yes, I agree with the comment by inluminatuo. The theory is correct, but the theory can only be sustained if the people do not fold. We MUST stand up to these people and NOT allow them to destroy us…and themselves as well in the process.

I know of no way to “compromise” with union thugs–they will lie, intimidate, physically attack and do anything else they deem necessary to get what they want and that is power, money and control. You cannot compromise with that. We MUST stand FOR our principles and not fold as so many RINOs do daily. It is time for Americans to stand up to the SEIU and UAW thugs and knock them out if needed. Arrest them and put them in jail and go after the “leaders” of these unions who make large six figure salaries and put them in jail as well. If we do not, and I fear we may not be able to now that Obama is in again for who knows how long, we will go the way of Russia, Cuba, China, etc. This is NOT what our Founders risked their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor for!

STAND UP AMERICA and do it NOW!

Hmmm … clear assault (with neither provocation, nor retaliation) on at least two occasions, including one being horse-collared from the blind side, destruction of property, threats to kill and I’m sure that there was more not in the clip.

How does one even begin to respond to this with any ability to render a morsel of propriety regarding those wrongful actions. Well, quite simply, a reasonable individual acknowledges that you can’t.

Although, I’m sure Obama would figure out a way that tries to make it seem like it was justified … or as Michelle points out … simply bury his head in the sand, so he doesn’t get his hands dirty.

    Obama-Nation is an Abomination.

I have never seen our nation as divided , never seen so much hate being fueled on the regular basis by this Administration…after all that is the main Obama’s expertise in his short resume…..
Germany of 1930′s will Look like a child game compare to what is coming down the pike and take place in our country…
Are we going to succumb to Obama’s vision of the complete transformation of the country he despised? Are we to be mandated to wear burka as well? Anything is possible…..

Obama was and still is a Community Organizer and do not forget it.
Back in 1968 at the Community Organization Workshop put on by the Communist Left, we were taught how to infiltrate labor and organize a socialist labor union. Of course Obama will condone what ever means necessary to enhance the power of the Socialist Union.
I noticed the article bringing up “Days of Rage” an event term used by the SDS/Weathermen back in 1969 as the event organized for a violent Bolshevik mentality attack in Chicago.

“–September 2011: ILWU bosses lead a “Days of Rage” protest at Port of Longview, Wash., taking a half-dozen guards hostage, sabotaging railroad cars, dumping grain, smashing windows, cutting brake lines, threatening a local TV station and blocking trains in violation of a judicial restraining order.”

You’re absolutely right. In1968-69 on my campus, the most radical students were in journalism and education. Today, they are the chief editorial propagandists and the leaders of the teachers union goons.
In 1968, there was an anti war “discussion” that turned into a pro communist war rally. I can never forget that there was one professor who was Czech who tried to speak about the Russians invading Czechoslovakia- and was shouted down.
Same old Saul Alinsky ****, to this day I hate them all.

lunch hour..they were fired but through arbitration they got
their jobs back….i know they were private sector jobs but none the less when unions are involved the game is changed. this is noting but corpution at the highest level and the politians are involved too including this commmunity agitator
called obama…yes this is assult and he needs to be in jail but i don’t see that happening

As usual Michelle your view is through hate-distorted glasses. Comparing a protest to a massacre where six people were gunned down in cold blood just shows you have no ability to see issues from anyone else’s point of view but your own. The hate and vitriol towards the current administration, fueled by people like you and corporate propaganda machines like Fox News, is at an all time high. Death threats against the president increased 400% – just who are the real thugs?

Can you point out one public incident in the last four years where a Tea Party member or a non-union citizen has used foul language or physical abuse to force their opinion on others? Michelle has listed several, and could have listed many more, of liberal and union based mob behavior that continues to be advocated and ignored by the Obama administration and the MSM.

Nearly all of the fiscal problems at all levels of government in this country are due to liberal political policies and liberal politicians who are in bed with big labor. The facts are there for every American to see if they are actually interested in a better understanding of what is happening in our country. The problem we have is that millions of Americans are in denial or are on the receiving end of these unaffordable and unsustainable government programs and are willing to ride the country into the ground for self serving reasons.

It is sad to watch as the ground troops for these socialist policies are big labor members who are principle receivers of taxpayer provided benefits that are taking the country down. I live in California where a CHP officer received a $605,000 one time payment when he retired at age 50 just for vacation days he accumulated over his career that he didn’t take. His pension was spiked by salary, overtime pay, and pent up medical and vacation time to where his lifetime pension will be more then his base pay.

Unions, particularly public service unions who own the politicians they help elect, basically control local and state governments and have been able to force their will on the taxpayers who pay for their benefits. Only in states with Republican governors and legislatures (like Michigan) have the courage to attempt to change this situation into something more reasonable. The Michigan “right to work” law changes only one simple aspect of the union agreements in that state which is to give every worker the freedom to choose whether or not to join a union when they are hired. It is simply freedom of choice and thousands of union demonstrators were bussed in to demonstrate…and actually use physical abuse against those that want this freedom to choose.

I thought liberals supported pro-choice in our country.

I have a niece that works at the State Capitol Building in Lansing. On Tuesday, her and fellow coworkers had to be escorted out by police because of the intimidation, bullying and threats by the union thugs. Takes some real brave people people to terrorize defenseless workers, especially a young woman seven months pregnant. Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero got on a loud speaker and welcomed this mob and told them how proud he was of them and admired their courage. Someone please tell me how it takes courage to terrorize, bully and intimidate defenseless people whose only crime seems to be that they work in the building. I wonder what kind of a tune Bernero would be singing if a family member of his was among those being intimidated? The people of Lansing voted in a real piece of work to run their city.

Last year Jimmy Hoffa Junior gleefully told Obama that they would be his private army, praising Obama and publicly worshiping the very ground he walks on. If memory serves, the unions were vehemently against NAFTA and GATT. Those agreements would not have been passed without Democrats voting for them in the Lame Duck Session of 1994. They would not be in effect if President Clinton (A Democrat) had vetoed them instead of signing them. Who do the unions keep giving their support? You guessed it. The Democrats that are cutting their throats. I don’t believe that Jimmy Junior is thinking about that. He is just desperately trying to make a bigger splash than his old man did. Jimmy Junior has been living under his father’s shadow all his life and is nowhere near the man his dad was and that isn’t saying much about the old man either. I had more respect for cockroaches.

Right now Obama needs their support, but the unions better watch their backs. As soon as Obama doesn’t need them anymore, he will throw them under the bus. He will use Union Management thugs like Hoffa and their goons just like Hitler used Ernst Rhom and the Brown Shirts and we all know what happened to them when they had outlived their usefulness to Hitler. It was the wholesale slaughter known as “The Night of The Long Knives”. Those in the generations that didn’t learn about that in high school history class may want to go and check it out. That dark time in fairly recent history is being ignored and forgotten. Those who ignore and forget history are doomed to repeat it. Time is running out. WAKE UP AMERICA!

Firstoff, I am a Retired Life Member of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 6171 of Garland, Texas. I worked with General Telephone of the Southwest, Jacksonville, AR. Arkansas is a Right To Work State. We had Union Members and Non-Union members working together with hardly any problems. I believe that a person should have the right to either join or not join the Union. If they feel right , in their own mind, with their own decision, then so be it, let them work. I watched the Union Members in Michigan, on TV last night and this morning, and could hardly believe what I saw happening. These Union Members were like a pack of wild animals attacking individual people, not just one on one, but three or four Union thugs on just one person, who was taping the News for Public viewing on National TV. If I was the Governor, it would be time for me to call out the National Guard in full Military might, including loaded weapons. the Union Bosses and the AFL/CIO Bosses should also be collected and Thrown in Jail. They should also be charged with Aggravated Assualt With Intent to do Bodiliy Harm and made to pay for the injuries suffered by the Citizens that were Brutilized and Heavely Fined. We The People, all of us, should be able to recognize, that Obama is as guility, as the Union Thugs, by his agreeing with the Union’s Action’s. Thank you for your time. TSgt., USAF Retired.

Unfortunately, unlike any other organization labour union leaders are protected from prosecution due to violence done by union members. They can’t be brought up on RICO charges or even simple conspiracy to commit violence even when it can be proved they planned the activity. I agree with you they should be prosecuted but we will have to have the law changed.

But why does labor find a need to organize? To best obtain their interest

And if it is bad, wouldn’t it be bad when done by other groups? Why don’t we hear of them?

It is well known they exist

To expose one and not the other, to condemn one and not the other, is not only hypocrisy but shows a vested interest in protecting one

What are the common wages of labour, depends everywhere upon the contract usually made between those two parties, whose interests are by no means the same. The workmen desire to get as much, the masters to give as little as possible. The former are disposed to combine in order to raise, the latter
in order to lower the wages of labour.

It is not, however, difficult to foresee which of the two parties must, upon all ordinary occasions, have the advantage in the dispute, and force the other into a compliance with their terms. The masters, being fewer in number, can combine much more easily; and the law, besides, authorizes, or at least does not prohibit their combinations, while it prohibits those of the workmen.
We have no acts of parliament against combining to lower the price of work; but many against combining to raise it. In all such disputes the masters can hold out much longer. A landlord, a farmer, a master manufacturer, a merchant, though they did not employ a single workman, could generally live a year or two upon the stocks which they have already acquired. Many workmen could not subsist a week, few could subsist a month, and scarce any a year without employment. In the long run the workman may be as necessary to his master as his master is to him; but the necessity is not so immediate.

We rarely hear, it has been said, of the combinations of masters, though frequently of those of workmen. BUT WHOEVER IMAGINES, UPON THIS ACCOUNT, THAT MASTERS RARELY COMBINE, IS AS IGNORANT OF THE WORLD AS OF THE SUBJECT. MASTERS ARE ALWAYS AND EVERYWHERE IN A SORT OF TACIT, BUT CONSTANT AND UNIFORM COMBINATION, NOT TO RAISE THE WAGES OF LABOUR ABOVE THEIR ACTUAL RATE. TO VIOLATE THIS COMBINATION IS EVERYWHERE A MOST UNPOPULAR ACTION, AND A SORT OF REPROACH TO A MASTER AMONG HIS NEIGHBOURS AND EQUALS. WE SELDOM, INDEED, HEAR
OF THIS COMBINATION, BECAUSE IT IS THE USUAL, AND ONE MAY SAY, THE NATURAL STATE OF THINGS, WHICH NOBODY EVER HEARS OF. Masters, too, sometimes enter into particular combinations to sink the wages of labour even below this rate.
These are always conducted with the utmost silence and secrecy, till the moment of execution, and when the workmen yield, as they sometimes do, without resistance, though severely felt by them, they are never heard of by other
people. Such combinations, however, are frequently resisted by a contrary defensive combination of the workmen; who sometimes too, without any provocation of this kind, combine of their own accord to raise the price of their labour. Their usual pretences are, sometimes the high price of provisions; sometimes the great profit which their masters make by their work. But whether their combinations be offensive or defensive, they are always abundantly heard of. In order to bring the point to a speedy decision, they have always recourse to the loudest clamour, and sometimes to the most
shocking violence and outrage. They are desperate, and act with the folly and extravagance of desperate men, who must either starve, or frighten their masters into an immediate compliance with their demands. The masters upon these occasions are just as clamorous upon the other side, and never cease to call aloud for the assistance of the civil magistrate, and the rigorous execution of those laws which have been enacted with so much severity against the combinations of servants, labourers, and journeymen. The workmen, accordingly, very seldom derive any advantage from the violence of those tumultuous combinations, which, partly from the interposition of the civil magistrate, partly from the necessity superior steadiness of the masters, partly from the necessity which the greater part of the workmen are under of submitting for the sake of present subsistence, generally end in nothing, but the punishment or ruin of the ringleaders.

In the case of public service workers, the “masters” are the government of the people, by the people, not some private company or some group of companies. To me, this country has a myriad of fair labor laws which were developed and passed by government to insure that all employees have an independent way through litigation to insure that they are not taken advantage of by employers which has created a huge cottage industry where thousands of law firms are making billions of dollars through all kinds of litigation by employees claiming they are being discriminated against for all kinds of reasons.

The government, of all parts of our country, should be the last organization to need a union or collective bargaining for their employees. FDR and George Meany (one of the fathers of the labor union) both warned about allowing public service employees to unionize because of what has finally happened in this country through the incestuous relationship between unions and the politicians they helped elect.

Every government level in this country is now in a fiscal crises because of the greed of the labor unions representing public service workers.

Union representation in the private sector is down and declining because of the lack of the need for it in most parts of our private industries, but, has been growing in the public worker sector by the millions as government continues to expand.

It has gotten out of control and the American taxpayers who have to pay the bills are starting to wake up to how overboard and lavish these unaffordable and unsustainable union benefits have become, and that something has to be done to turn this around.

Seems like Jimmy just rose from the dead this is the way it was done back in the 70s. One question when the auto industry was bailed out how much money did the union kick in to help out.If Obama hadn’t said that this bill would have them working for lower wages don’t know if it would have gone to this extent.Because it’s not a union buster and it doesn’t say that union workers will work for this pay and non for this amount it just say’s that you have the right to go and work any where you want with a card or not.

The UAW is now co owner with the government of General Motors, now known as Government Motors. Without a total lock down on workers, the Union is revealed as what it truly has become.

Bullies, Cowards, but the one word that fits them the most other than Stupid is COMMUNIST led! If you can still find the truth on the internet go back in history to the beginning and find who has been behind the unions since inception in the USA. They will attack people who do not agree with them but cowards always do that.

Yep, inciting a riot is a crime but so is treason, embezzlement, fraud, etc. Curious as to why he is not in prison. As for unions, they are a thing of the past, like dinosaurs. Union leaders care more about their political pals then they do about protecting rights and jobs of their fellow workers. Unions are the reason big companies ship jobs over seas. They priced themselves right out of business. . Time to put a stop to Unions destroying America . RIGHT TO WORK IS YOUR RIGHT.

****** and his thugs are against the right to work for one reason only.MONEY. If every state becomes a right to work state the Union looses money that they would give to Democrats.****** needs that money if he wants to get the things he thinks should be done in this Nation.Unless Democrats have access to all those Union dollars they would not have enough money to spread their LIES as freely as they do.They(Democrats)would also not be able to force people to give to them even if they are against the Democratic party.****** is NOT for the middle class he is in FACT pro Corparation and Pro Union where he will get his Inauguration money and if people are STUPID enough he also expects to get his Library money. He says he is for the middle Class but has hit the middle Class with the biggest Tax hike in history and thinks that Corparations should make Billions and NOT pay a penny in US taxes(GE made 9 billion paid ZERO in taxes to the US).He thinks that people who make billions in profit and do not pay income taxes should get a free pass.He thinks those that support him should be tax free but everyone else must pay even more to allow him to waste OUR money.

Some good news from this incident: Steven Crowder announced this morning that they found the coward who sucker-punched him and says that he will either sue him and the union and/or press criminal charges against the SOB. As an alternative Crowder has issued a challenge him to face him in a mixed martial arts arena (Crowder is trained in MMA). If this creep is willing and beats him, Crowder says he will drop the charges and make a donation to the union. Now we’ll get to see how tough this coward really is.

Nothing new. My dad was left laying dead by members of the Teamsters Union in 1940 at Kansas City, Mo. They beat his head in, but he survived. If the president is not making ripe his voters for this sort of action I will eat your hat. On the Internet they practice with Union members using profanity, calling names, telling lies, and making claims that are totally uncalled for. Is this not the training by the Muslims ? Do or say what you will, just get it done. It that doesn’t work, kill them. They are still working on the “kill them” window. Most likely, riots first then killings. God Bless America.

What I detest most about this administration is they call evil good and good evil.

Right to work is a freedom. Freedom is good

They disdain freedom for monetary gain. And that has become the national problem in a nutshell. The love of money is the root of all evil.

If the American people knew where this is leading us they wouldn’t want it. Our country is buying into the same old communist lies and promises and we’ll get the same old outcome other countries have gotten.. lack, poverty, no voice, no freedom, no way to fight it, stuck, impoverished, no choice and prayerfully not but possibly also mass death. The more I pray and the more I seek God the more I believe the root of the problem is spiritual and not simply political. If MY PEOPLE (Christians) who are called by My Name would humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land. It’s not too late. Pray for our country!

It never ceases to amaze me how pontificating the left is over the tea party, when their side(OWS, UNION thugs, Baby killers, anti-school choicers, Anti- worker choicers) do not get their way. Have to run to the courts now because their union party(the dems) did not have a majority and they did not get what they feel is their right to have. I got news for all you union thugs and union protesters. If you want a war bring it on because you are outnumbered at least 40-1. Even 40% of your union members are pro-Right to work. The losers are the only ones in the streets paid and bought by their union bosses. Where is Obama in all this uncivility? I guess his idea of civility only applies to tea partiers, pro school choice and pro life advocates. This country is becoming a cess pool and it is because of Obama and the unions. I hope in time all 50 states have right to work laws. I hope unions are just a thing of the past. Then we can grow the economy and save people 100 of millions of dollars in taxes. God bless Governor Snyder, Gov Walker, Gov. Kascik and all others who believe that people have a right to choose where and what environment they work in. Want unions then you want Detroit. Look what the dems and the unions have done to that city.

Labor unions served a positive purpose 80 years ago. We now have labor standards in place. As demonstrated in this video and by the LA Port strike, labor unions are nothing more than a communist mafia. The port clerks are already obscenely paid and benefitted, yet while half the country in on foodstamps and unemployed, these greedy scumbags held up the whole port, costing $8 BILLION to the port, the city, the county, the state and the feds not to mention the thousands of merchants whose cargo was held for ransom. The worst part is that all these merchants and governments will recovery the losses by raising prices and taxes for that we consumers have to end up paying the whopping debt these thugs racked up. To me, at $8 BILLION in damages, it’s worth hiring mecenaries to take out the trash. Labor unions have driven America out of world competition and serve to install the most vile and corrupt politicians like Jerry Bathsalts Brown and Nasty Pelosi.

When I graduated in 1967, my first job was teaching school – salary = $3,000.00 PER YEAR. I was informed that Texas is a right-to-work state but I was still “expected” to join one of the teachers’ unions (NEA, TEA, TCTA, etc).

When unions were first formed, people organized for a good reason – just like the KKK. Consider this. KKK organized during the reconstruction period after the civil war to combat lawlessness the Carpet Baggers abetted and to protect individuals (especially Southern women). KKK was a respected orgization even through the 1920′s. BUT, as their power grew, so did their misuse of it until the entire organization became tainted with evil. Same-same with unions. Unions originally had lofty goals based on Christian ideals. They eliminated forced child labors (except on family farms and with the family environment).

Now, due primarily to the teamsters, unions have gained so much power they no longer care about the working man or the family. Union thugs have transformed their organization into a repressive “theocracy”.

What is that line? “I come not to praise Caesar but to bury him”? That’s how I feel about unions. When something starts out good but turns evil, it is time to bury it.

Unions were a good thing for workers in America when first organized however over the years the Mafia infiltrated the upper leadership and they destroyed any reason the Unions had to exist for the worker. If you look at Trumka you can see the thug in leadership. Same with Jimmy Hoffa Jr. Maybe someday he will disappear.

The right never learns. I’ve been seeing it my whole life. It makes me wonder if we deserve to lead if we can’t even figure out how to deal with these union morons. The lessons have been taught to us over and over, but we never get it. In this case it’s real simple. Just get as many non-union supporters as possible, all with camcorders filming the union mob and their assualts. Get clear images and then press charges/sue the attackers. Have them arrested, civilly if necessary. Tie them up in court, costing them legal fees at the very least. This is how the left takes on the right when it comes to laws passed by voters that the left does not like. Tie it up in court.
